The students were worried about their classmates. Especially Ejiro, seeing as they'd been working together in the same work-study. Of course... Sans was worried too, but his faith in his bro outweighed that. Papyrus was strong. He'd been practicing his magic since he'd woken up. "hey riot. don't worry, if anyone can beat those bullets, it's suneater and chivalry." Sans reassured the kid as they kept running. "Judge is right. They will be fine. We have bigger issues ahead, like Mimic." Right. The villain who controls the maze. "He hasn't been active for a hot minute." Undyne noted with a frown. She turned to Sans. "Can you do your soul sensing thing?" Sans nodded as he tried to get a feel for the Mimic's soul. His sockets widened, and he turned to grab his boyfriend by the soul. "eraser, look out!" Before Sans could do anything else, the wall closed in on all the heroes who'd been in the way. Sans grit his teeth, looking at the empty space where Undyne had been standing. She was so reckless at times... but Sans felt better... knowing she was with Ejiro and Taishiro. "let's keep moving... they'll catch up." Sans stated certainly.

The first thing Undyne did was check on the hero and the kid. It seemed they'd all shared the same goal of getting Sans boyfriend out of the way. They didn't have too much time to check on each other, though. Red Riot immediately hardened up, and Undyne could see why. An unknown appeared, and in Undyne's eye, all unknowns were a threat until proven innocent. "Good eye, kid! Fufufu!" She was excited to finally show her stuff in a real world situation rather than training simulations. It wasn't as easy as that, though. The villain was fast before Undyne could so much as summon a spear, the kid was flying into a wall, and the other hero was taking the punches. Undyne acted fast, stopping the villain with her green attack. The villain froze in place, a shield appearing in his hand, and they all turned to her. "Now it's MY TURN!!!" She summoned hundreds of spears and threw them all in quick succession to see how fast this villain really was. But a golden shield blocked her spears, and Undyne found herself looking for the one responsible. "HEY! BUTT OUT OF OTHER PEOPLE'S FIGHTS, YOU PUNK!!!" She snarled at the second villain.

"You are the only one of the three of you who has an offensive and defensive quirk... but I didn't see anything like this on the list." List? Undyne wasn't sure, but she could only assume that the enemy had a list of all their quirks, so of course she wasn't on the list! Not that she said that outloud. "You must be another one of those bullet punks I keep hearing about." Undyne observed. She didn't realize that the shield had broken her hold until the other guy was throwing his punches at Fat Gum again, and Undyne quickly tried to turn his soul green again to protect her fellow hero. "No, Justice! I can take this one on. I need you to stop that shield!" Fat Gum grunted out as he tried to catch his breath. One look. That was all Undyne needed to whip herself around and go after the shield. All her years as Captain of the Royal Guard had taught her to trust in her soldiers, and that look in Fat Gum's eyes told her that he had a plan. She just had to knock out the shield.

Luckily, she had some attacks the shield hadn't seen yet. The villain startled when the floor turned teal in her oncoming spears. The shield barely evaded them and tried to block her floor spears, but they kept appearing where he was standing. "Kendo!" He tried to call out to his friend, but he was equally busy, now with Red Riot rather than Fat Gum. Said hero wasn't quite looking like he could take any more of those punches... no wonder the kid had to step in. Undyne switched back to her regular spears and tried to attack the spear once more. One spear managed to hit before the shield came out once more, but at this point, it didn't really matter. Fat Gum's plan was put into action as his fist shattered through the shield into the spear. The human went flying into his shield friend, and they both went flying into the wall. "Woah, nice hit!" Undyne didn't expect it, but it worked - or at least, she thought it did. "Treat him." Undyne instinctively turned to turn his soul green, but the spear made no move to harm them. "Treat that man... so we can fight again."

💠💠💠

"You don't look like you're in any condition to fight." Fat Gum pointed out. Kendo, the spear, only laughed quietly. "You're right. My arms are broken, but I enjoyed the thrill of the fight! I need a death match! I need my opponent at his best, so treat him!" Undyne listened as their opponent freely gave up information. Information about how their leader had beat him five times, information about how the yakuza was going to be reinstated, and how the plan was nearly complete. Undyne decided that Kendo really wasn't a threat anymore or went to start healing Red Riot. "You did great, kid... earned the respect of your enemy. That's not an easy thing to do..." Undyne praised as she easily mended his broken bones and bleeding body. "Hey, Fat Gum, get your butt over here so I can heal you!" Undyne barked out as she let the kid sleep off all that energy he'd exhausted. Fat Gum blinked in surprise to see Red Riot looking as good as new. "How did you?" Undyne laughed as she walked on over to do her thing. "Healing magic, of course! Fufufu!"
