I said to my cousins, "I love the smell of cookies baking in the oven."

We were currently baking a double batch of Halloween themed chocolate chip sugar cookies for a Halloween party we were invited to. Yeah, we love to celebrate Halloween despite the legends surrounding it.

My younger cousin Catherine replies, "Same here, cos. True, baking cookies is hard work and is not the type of work for lazy people, but it's a whole lotta fun nevertheless. And the best part is, because we're baking another double batch tomorrow, we get to indulge in at least three cookies for each of us before the Halloween party."

My second younger cousin Arrietta replies, "Yes, that's true, Catherine. But all the same, I still can't believe that even though we're adults, we still celebrate Halloween."

I rolled my eyes fondly as I said, "Really? This again? We've been over this nine hundred and sixty-seven times."

Now Arrietta looked sheepish for bringing that old topic up, again.

My name is Margaret Smith, and my friends call me Shades on occasion because of my tendency to wear sunglasses even on rainy days if I ever think that the leftover sunlight behind the clouds might get to me. I'm currently 30 years old, while my younger cousins Catherine Brown and Arrietta Wilson are respectively 27 years old and 19 years old. We all live in a small town southeast of New York State, just a few houses and streets apart.

Just then, Arrietta asks me with her adorable Puss In Boots eyes, "Hey, Shades, when we finish, can we finish watching Transformers Rescue Bots Academy on your laptop?"

I laughed as she got closer and began tickling me until I said, "Okay, we'll watch the final episodes of Rescue Bots Academy after we finish."

If you couldn't tell by now, we were die-hard Transformers fans. Just like those You Tubers on You Tube who did video reviews of the toys, the pieces of media, and so forth about Transformers.

It was to the point where, in private, we addressed each other by our Cybertronian names which we came up with.

Catherine is Tungsten, Arrietta is Fortout, and I am Gallowstalker.

But oddly enough, when we came up with our Cybertronian names, a symbol similar to the Autobot symbol began to manifest in our minds as well as a name of a group of Cybertronians called the Darknesstrappers.

I remembered my Cybertronian life in the Transformers Prime universe, but as for my cousins, I really don't think that they remember.

Just then, I was drawn out of my thoughts when the oven dinged.

We got out our oven mitts and the pot holders before I opened the oven and took out the first batch of cookies.
