(Uniend Cluster 831.1012.514.1014.25.07.02.23.32 Zeta-Alpha-Kappa, Saturday, August 21st, 2010, third person POV...)
In the Arctic Circle, Bulkhead and Bumblebee are struggling against a polar wind storm as they attempt to follow the signal coming from somewhere in the region.
Bumblebee asks, "Are we there yet, Bulkhead?"
Bulkhead calls out over the noise of the wind, "No, we're not there yet, but it should be just past this ridge, Bumblebee."
Bulkhead and Bumblebee slide down the mountain ridge and Bulkhead checks the scanner again.
Bulkhead says, "I don't get it. These readings are off the scale."
Bumblebee then says, "Whoa! Bulkhead, I see something in that frozen water over there!"
Bumblebee leads Bulkhead to the frozen water, and they see an escape pod in the water.
Bulkhead then says, "Bulkhead to Optimus, we found an escape pod in the frozen water at our coordinates."
In the Autobot base, Optimus replies as he hails Photonblade on the commlink to make a conference call, "Understood, Bulkhead. Photonblade, come in."
Photonblade answers as he drives in the countryside of Kansas, "Photonblade here. Go ahead."
Optimus says over the commlink, "(Filtered) Bulkhead and Bumblebee have found an escape pod in the Arctic Circle and we wished to have your input on the subject considering your foreknowledge."
Photonblade answers firmly before revealing, "Do not bring that pod to the base right now; it's full of Scraplets."
Bulkhead and Bumblebee exclaim in unison, "(Filtered) What?!" "(Filtered) What?!"
Optimus says seriously before asking, "(Filtered) Understood, Photonblade. But what should we do with the pod regardless?"
Photonblade answers, "Open the pod and let the Scraplets fall out; they get frozen easily because of the temperature of the Arctic and Antarctica combined with their small size. Ergo, in the Arctic Circle and Antarctica, their small size means instantaneous deep freeze. And after they fall out deactivated and frozen, make sure you smash them to pieces. After that, bring the corpses back to base; that way, we can easily melt them down for spare parts, such as if anyone needs a replacement hand if anyone's hands get stomped to pieces by any Decepticon like Megatron in a fight to the death."
In the base, Optimus replies, "Understood, Photonblade."
Bulkhead then says, "(Filtered) Whoa. I see another escape pod, but my sensors don't detect any Scraplets in it."
Photonblade replies, "(Filtered) Then bring that pod to the base, but make sure to keep it frozen. We don't want whatever's in that second pod to break out and cause a catastrophe."
