(Currentracer's laboratory, Outseek's POV...)
I asked Currentracer, "So, what you're basically saying is that you have a theory about how Devastator actually functions?"
Currentracer types some buttons on his computer screen to display to me and anyone coming in or anyone already inside the data about Devastator's functioning operation. But of course, even I was unaware that Optimus was already walking inside to pay attention to what Currentracer has to say.
Currentracer answers as he explains, "Yes, as a matter of fact. Our own combiner project is to invent a steady but operational Autobot combiner to take on Devastator one-on-one and win. As you can see, Devastator was rumored to be formed of 6 Constructicons, but based on your corrected intel, Devastator is actually formed by seven Constructicons. And this ain't a strut into the Six Lasers Over Cybertron. All of the Constructicons that make up Devastator have to mentally agree on a course of action in order for Devastator to operate and to avoid accidentally transforming back into his component units. That was what Tailpunch's intel said. But Perceptor and I believe that Devastator wasn't built to think and he can't think even if he was built to think. It's 75% difficult for seven people to think and agree on a course of action in flawless perfection, unless they're Insecticons or Terrorcons under Unicron's control despite being undead. But that's not what I'm trying to say."
I then asked to clarify, "Okay, so in essence, you want our combiner to be able to think, correct?"
Currentracer answers, "Yes."
One of my Grounder clones by the name of Soundcatcher then politely says, "I see. Please continue at best possible pace so you don't burn yourself out."
Currentracer replies before explaining, "Thanks for your concern, Soundcatcher, but I'll be fine for the next few cycles before I have to stock up on Energon. One of Devastator's most crucial weaknesses that nobody has been able to take advantage of and weaponize so far is that he's not skilled at making choices. And he's extremely slow because of how big he is. It goes on to show that depending on how big a Cybertronian is, their physical speed will be determined. Anyway, I want for our combiner to take advantage of these weak spots, but the only way to be able to pull it off and achieve victory, whether temporary or permanent, is to make sure our combiner is intelligent enough to put Optimus, Megatron, Soundwave, Blaster, Shockwave, Perceptor, and many other smart Autobots and Decepticons to shame without being boisterous or arrogant in any way possible. But of course, this process is kind of a difficult path to tread, even with Tailpunch using his godlike knowledge provided by his Allspark form on combiners. Now, onto my idea. I have reason to believe that instead of making the combiner mind the components' minds merged together, we can make the combiner mode an all-together different kind of being."
My Aerialbot clone by the name of Rackaburst then questions, "So, how will we be able to pull this off?"
Currentracer answers, "I'd have to explain it in a half groon long lecture of scientific explanations, so I'll be blunt: I know what I'm doing, and I'll get it done as soon as possible."
Optimus then interjects, "That's good to hear."
