The sky is still dark when I’m jolted awake by the sound of my alarm. I glance at the time—5:30 AM. I can hear the soft groans from the others as we all drag ourselves out of bed and into our gym clothes. It’s way too early for this, but Aizawa-Sensei made it clear: today marks the start of serious quirk training.

Outside the cabin, the air is crisp, and the forest is eerily quiet. As Class 1-A gathers, I spot Aizawa-Sensei standing in his usual spot, arms crossed, his eyes as sharp and observant as ever. The sight of him sends a familiar rush of warmth through me, but I shake it off. There’s no room for distractions today.

Aizawa-Sensei greets us in his typical no-nonsense tone, explaining that the purpose of this camp is to reinforce and strengthen our quirks. "The goal is for you all to obtain your temporary licenses," he explains, his gaze sweeping across the class. I straighten my posture, determined to push myself further than ever.

“Katsuki,” Aizawa-Sensei calls out, "let’s see how much your quirk has improved. Perform the pitch from the Quirk Apprehension Test."

Bakugou steps forward, cocky as ever, and throws his explosive pitch. We all watch as the ball sails through the air, waiting for the result. The number pops up: 709.6 meters.

It’s an increase from his last score, but not by much. Whispers ripple through the group, and I catch Mina and Denki exchanging confused looks.

“That’s it?” Mina mutters, clearly expecting a bigger difference.

Aizawa-Sensei steps forward, his voice steady but firm. “You’ve all grown, yes. But that growth has been mostly emotional and technical. Your quirks, on the other hand, have only improved a little. That’s why, starting today, we’ll focus on physical growth—on upgrading your quirks.”

His words settle over us like a heavy weight, and I can feel the tension rising. Physical growth. Upgrading our quirks. It sounds like it’s going to be brutal, but that’s exactly why we’re here.

Class 1-A’s Quirk Training

Class 1-B arrives not long after, joining us at the training camp. Their teacher, Vlad King, seems just as intense as Aizawa-Sensei as he instructs them to push their quirks to the limit, just like us. The Pussycats, with their large area-of-effect quirks, introduce themselves and immediately get to work.

As the day progresses, it becomes clear that this isn’t going to be easy. Katsuki is training in boiling water, using his explosions under intense heat. It’s a grueling process, but that’s the point. We’re being pushed to our absolute limits, forced to adapt to unfavorable conditions.

I’m paired with Momo and Denki for the first exercise, and the strain is already starting to show. My telekinesis is usually precise, but Aizawa-Sensei wants me to focus on lifting and holding heavier objects for longer periods. It’s not about control this time—it’s about endurance.

As I push myself, lifting and holding boulders with my quirk, I can feel my muscles start to tremble. The strain is immense, and sweat drips down my face, but I refuse to give in. I glance at Aizawa-Sensei, who’s watching from a distance. Is he impressed? Is he seeing how hard I’m pushing myself?

Momo, ever the leader, uses her creation quirk to make tools for the rest of us, keeping the pace up. Meanwhile, Denki struggles with his own training, his electricity sparking wildly as he tries to control the output. We’re all being pushed beyond our comfort zones, and it’s clear this isn’t just about surviving the camp—it’s about becoming real heroes.

Tiger vs. Izuku

Tiger, one of the Pussycats, steps up to challenge Izuku, who’s been working hard to control more of One For All’s power. We all watch as Izuku uses 5% Detroit Smash, but Tiger dodges effortlessly and lands a punch on Izuku, knocking him back.

“Your muscles haven’t even started to tear yet,” Tiger says, his voice booming. “You’re holding back.”

Izuku looks determined as he gets back up, stretching his body again. He knows that if he wants to master One For All, he has to push himself harder than anyone else. Tiger encourages him, and despite the pain, Izuku keeps going.

Watching him, I feel a surge of admiration. Izuku never gives up, no matter how hard the challenge. It’s inspiring, and it pushes me to keep going, too.

Cooking Their Own Food

By 4:00 PM, we’re exhausted. Pixie-Bob and Ragdoll hand out food materials, telling us that from now on, we’ll have to cook our own meals. Tenya, ever the leader, takes this as another training opportunity and rallies the class to start making curry.

“Don’t rely on anyone else,” Momo reminds us when Mina asks Shoto to make a fire. “We’re supposed to learn how to do this ourselves.”

But Shoto, ever the soft spot for his friends, helps Mina anyway, igniting the fire with a simple flick of his fingers.

As we sit down to eat our curry, the atmosphere is lighter. The exhaustion is still there, but the sense of camaraderie lifts our spirits. We’ve been through a lot today, and though the road ahead is tough, we know we can handle it.

From afar, I notice a small figure watching us—Kota. He looks unimpressed, his face set in a scowl, and I can’t help but wonder what’s going on in his mind. Izuku notices him too as we walk back to join the class, but neither of us says anything. There’s more to Kota than meets the eye, but it’s clear that he doesn’t think much of us.

The day comes to an end, but the training is far from over. Tomorrow will be even more intense. As I lie in bed, my muscles aching and my mind buzzing, I can’t help but think about Aizawa-Sensei again. Did he notice my progress today? Or am I just another student to him?

I push the thought away, knowing I need to focus. This camp is about pushing my quirk to its limits—not getting distracted by my feelings for Aizawa-Sensei.

But as I close my eyes, that familiar flutter returns, and I wonder if he’ll ever see me as more than just his student.
