Mailin's POV

The air crackles with anticipation as we enter Ground Gamma for the final round of joint training. My heart races, each beat echoing in my ears like a countdown to something inevitable. I glance at my team-Midoriya, Ochaco, and Mina-each of them focused, ready for the challenge ahead. But I can feel the weight pressing on my chest, something deeper than nerves. This is my moment. I can't afford to hold back. Not today.

Midoriya leads us forward, each of his leaps charged with the strength of One For All, his confidence radiating like a beacon. He's calm, collected. I envy that. Because beneath my skin, a storm is brewing-one that threatens to spiral out of control.

"Stick together," Midoriya calls, his voice steady but firm. "I'll be the decoy."

I nod, but the swirling pressure inside me refuses to be ignored. My quirk, my power, it's surging, clawing to be set free. And I know-deep down-that today isn't just about winning. It's about proving to myself, to my team, and maybe even to Aizawa-Sensei, that I'm capable of controlling the storm inside me.

Aizawa's POV

From the sidelines, I watch closely, but my focus isn't on Midoriya or the battle strategy. My eyes track her-Hoshino Mailin. She's different today. There's something in her stance, in the way she moves. A quiet, determined fire that I've never seen burn this brightly before.

It worries me.

She's always been powerful, her telekinesis raw and unpolished. But power without control is dangerous. I've seen it time and time again-students pushing beyond their limits, thinking they can handle the strain, only to break under the pressure.

But Mailin... there's something else about her. I've watched her grow, and while she's stronger, she's also walking a fine line. Today will show me whether she can finally control that strength, or if it will consume her.

"All Might," I murmur, my eyes narrowing. "Watch her closely."

Mailin's POV

A scream pierces the air, and my blood turns cold. Ochaco.

Midoriya reacts instantly, spinning toward the sound. Monoma steps out from the shadows, a twisted smile playing on his lips, taunting us like a predator toying with its prey. He's trying to break Midoriya, to make him act without thinking. But Midoriya doesn't fall for it. He holds steady, but I can feel the tension rising in him, like a coiled spring ready to snap.

Before we can react, a barrage of metal hurtles toward us-Reiko's doing. Her Poltergeist quirk sends debris flying at deadly speed. My pulse pounds in my ears. I don't think-there's no time for that.

"Mina! Ochaco! Behind me!" I shout, thrusting my hands forward as my telekinesis surges to life.

Aizawa's POV

There it is.

Her telekinesis erupts, a force of nature, and the air itself seems to vibrate with the raw energy she's summoning. But this isn't the restrained control she usually shows-this is something more. Something dangerous.

She's not holding back.

I can feel the weight of it, the intensity, as objects lift off the ground, suspended in her telekinetic storm. It's powerful, yes-but I've seen what happens when she loses control. The power can overwhelm her.

Magical Splash Flare.

I grit my teeth. She's been working on this move, but the sheer scale of it still worries me. It's bigger, more destructive than anything she's done before. And I know that with this kind of power, there's always a cost.
