Mailin and Mina had always been the most chaotic duo in Class 1-A, their bond solidified through their shared love of hero work, shenanigans, and, most importantly, matchmaking.
It started with Mina, a self-proclaimed love detective, orchestrating ridiculous schemes to get their classmates to confess their feelings. But it wasn’t until Mailin joined her side that things truly escalated. Together, they formed an unstoppable matchmaking duo, calling themselves the M&Ms.
The name was perfect. Both their names started with an M, so M&Ms. Simple! Iconic!
Their mission? To get the most oblivious couples in Class 1-A to finally confess.
Today’s targets: Tododeku, Kiribaku, and Shinkami.
Mina, ever the love detective, adjusted her shades dramatically, glancing over at her partner in crime. “Alright, Mailin. It’s time. The M&Ms are making these ships sail.”
Mailin smirked, crossing her arms, ready for action. “Kachow!”

Phase 1: Tododeku
The second year of U.A. was in full swing, but Mina and Mailin had bigger plans than just hero training. Today, their mission was clear: get those oblivious idiots to confess their feelings.
Mina adjusted her shades, leaning conspiratorially toward Mailin. “Alright, partner. It’s time for the M&Ms to make these ships sail. Ready for some chaos?”
Mailin grinned. “Boom, baby! Let’s do this. We’re getting confessions by the end of the day, no matter what it takes.”
Their first stop was the common room, where Midoriya and Todoroki were sitting together, going over notes for training exercises. But M&Ms could feel the tension—those two had been skirting around their feelings long enough.
Mina whispered to Mailin. “Time to activate Phase 1 of Operation ‘Blushing Green Beans.’”
Mailin nodded, casually strolling over and pretending to be reading off her phone. “Oh, have you two seen this article? It says 87% of people ship you together.”
Midoriya’s face immediately flushed crimson. “W-what?! Who’s shipping us?!”
Todoroki raised an eyebrow, completely unfazed. “87%? That’s a very specific number.”
Mina leaned in with a smirk. “Yup, and there’s a whole forum thread dedicated to it. People are really into your ‘dynamic.’ They even say Todoroki looks at you like he’s in love.”
Midoriya practically exploded with nervous energy, waving his hands frantically. “T-Todoroki-kun doesn’t look at me like that! We’re just friends!”
But Todoroki’s calm response completely derailed Midoriya’s panic. “Actually, Midoriya, I’ve been meaning to talk to you about that.”
Midoriya froze, his face turning even redder.
Todoroki’s voice was soft, steady, almost tender. “I like you, Midoriya. More than just a friend. I didn’t think it was obvious.”
Midoriya’s eyes widened, his mouth opening and closing like a fish out of water. “Y-you… like me? Like... like-like me?”
Todoroki nodded, his eyes never leaving Midoriya’s. “Yes. You’re brave, compassionate… and you inspire me. I don’t want to just be your friend. I want more.”
Midoriya’s face was on fire now, his heart hammering in his chest. “I… I like you too, Todoroki-kun. I just… didn’t know how to say it.”
Todoroki smiled—a small, rare, but genuine smile. “Then that’s settled.”
