Mailin's POV
The air in the classroom feels lighter than it has in days. After everything that's happened-the kidnapping, the rescue, and All Might's battle-it feels surreal to be back in our uniforms, sitting at our desks like nothing's changed. But everything has.
Aizawa-Sensei stands at the front, his voice steady and calm, cutting through my thoughts.
"Your first objective," he begins, "is earning your Provisional Hero Licenses. The Provisional Hero License Exam isn't easy. Less than five percent of applicants pass, and most of you are far from ready."
His eyes sweep over the class, pausing briefly on me. My heart stumbles in my chest. Does he think I'm ready? Am I?
He continues, "To prepare for the exam, you will need to create at least two special moves-signature techniques that will give you the upper hand in combat."
My mind races at the thought of creating my own special move. It's exciting but also terrifying. Special moves define pro heroes. Can I even come up with one worthy enough? As the class buzzes with anticipation, I sneak a glance at Aizawa-Sensei. His expression is unreadable, but I feel his gaze linger on me for just a second longer.
Aizawa's POV
I notice the flicker of uncertainty in Hoshino's eyes. She's always been focused, but recent events have added a weight to her demeanor. She doesn't realize the extent of her potential yet.
As I explain the importance of special moves, I see her deep in thought. She's overanalyzing again. Her Quirk is powerful-raw telekinetic energy that she's only scratched the surface of. Precision is key for her.
I can see the tension in her posture-her back a little too straight, her hands gripping the edge of the desk like she's trying to ground herself. It's like she's trying to prove something to herself, maybe even to me.
She doesn't need to. I've seen her potential from the start.
I make a mental note to guide her during training. With the right focus, she could develop something remarkable.

Mailin's POV
After Aizawa-Sensei dismisses us, we change into our hero costumes and head to Gym Gamma for training. My heart pounds as I walk in, my telekinesis buzzing under the surface like a live wire, waiting to be used. There's a mix of excitement and dread pooling in my stomach. I want to do well, but what if I can't?
As we step inside, Cementoss is already manipulating the gym's layout, and Ectoplasm is creating clones for us to spar against. The arena feels overwhelming, but I push the anxiety down. I need to focus.
Before I can dive into my training, Aizawa-Sensei approaches me. I can feel his presence before he even says anything, and when he speaks, his voice is low, meant just for me.
"Hoshino," he says, his gaze steady but encouraging, "remember to harness your power with control. Don't rely solely on brute strength. Think about how you can maximize your abilities."
My breath catches. He believes in me. He always has. I nod, trying to keep my voice steady. "Yes, Aizawa-Sensei. I'll do my best."
He gives a slight nod before moving on. His words resonate with me. Control. Maximizing my abilities. No brute strength, just precision.

Aizawa's POV
I can see the tension in her posture-her back a little too straight, her hands gripping the edge of her costume's gloves like she's trying to ground herself. She's calculating, thinking too much. She tends to overanalyze, especially when it comes to her Quirk.
