The common area buzzed with excitement as the café plans began to take shape. Mina was in full-on leader mode, sketching out costume designs while everyone gathered around to discuss the finer details.

“So, here’s what I’m thinking,” Mina said, waving her notebook in the air. “We need to divide up who’s going to wear the maid dresses and who’s going to be in butler suits. Obviously, it’s up to everyone, but I’ve got some ideas.”

She gave a devilish grin and immediately looked toward Midoriya, Kaminari, Bakugou, and me. “How about we put the ‘bottoms’ in the dresses?”

Midoriya, who had been sipping his tea, choked and nearly spat it out. “W-What?!”

Kaminari just blinked, wide-eyed. “Wait, what did I miss? Bottoms? In dresses?”

I turned a deep shade of red. “You’re serious about this?”

“Oh, absolutely!” Mina said with a wink. “It’s only fair that those of you who’ve got the cutest blushes wear the maid dresses. Trust me, it’ll be adorable!”

Bakugou, lounging with his feet kicked up on the couch, let out an irritated scoff. “Tch. You’re not putting me in a damn dress.”

Kaminari, however, was still trying to process the whole situation. “Wait, so I’m… in a maid dress? Like… with cat ears?”

Mina nodded enthusiastically. “You got it! It’s gonna be purr-fect! Get it? ‘Cause it’s a Neko Maid Café?”

Midoriya’s face flushed a deep red, his eyes darting around nervously. “I-I don’t know if I’m cut out for this…”

Kirishima slapped him on the back, grinning. “Don’t worry, man, you’ll look great! Besides, it’s all for fun!”

Bakugou sat up, glaring at Mina. “You’re dreaming if you think I’m wearing that.”

“Oh come on, Bakugou!” Kaminari teased, grinning ear to ear. “You’ll look great in a frilly apron!”

Bakugou growled under his breath, but I could tell that Mina wasn’t backing down.

I hesitated, unsure of how I felt about the whole maid dress thing. On the one hand, I didn’t mind playing along, especially if it was for the festival. But on the other hand, the thought of Aizawa seeing me in a maid dress... my face burned just imagining it.

Mina seemed to notice my internal struggle and leaned in, her eyes twinkling with mischief. “Don’t worry, Mailin. You’ll totally rock it. Aizawa-sensei’s gonna lose it when he sees you.”

I swallowed hard, glancing toward Aizawa, who was observing from a distance. The thought of him seeing me like that made my stomach flip, but I couldn’t back out now.

“So, it’s settled then,” Mina declared, clapping her hands. “Mailin, Midoriya, Kaminari, and Bakugou will be in maid dresses. The rest of you can pick butler suits or whatever café-themed outfits you want. Sound good?”

The class exchanged glances, most of them nodding in agreement. Todoroki shrugged, seemingly indifferent, while Iida raised a hand. “I think I’ll opt for a butler suit. It’s more fitting for a formal café atmosphere.”

Jirou laughed. “I think I’ll stick with something more neutral, maybe just an apron.”

Momo, ever the practical one, smiled. “I can help with creating the costumes. We’ll need to make sure they’re comfortable and functional.”

Kaminari was still grinning, clearly excited about the whole thing. “This is gonna be hilarious! I can’t wait to see Bakugou in a dress!”

Bakugou shot him a deadly glare. “You say one more word, and I’ll blow you to pieces.”

As the class continued planning, I couldn’t help but feel a mix of nervousness and excitement. The thought of wearing a maid dress—complete with cat ears—was daunting, but I knew it would be a hit. And maybe, just maybe, it would stir something in Aizawa too.

Later That Evening

After the meeting, everyone went their separate ways to prepare for the festival. I stayed behind with Momo to go over costume ideas. She had already begun sketching out designs for the maid dresses, complete with ruffles and delicate aprons.

“So, what do you think?” Momo asked, showing me the design. “I tried to keep it practical but cute. The cat ears will be attached with a headband, and the apron is adjustable.”

I studied the drawing, imagining myself in the outfit. “It’s... really cute.”

Momo smiled warmly. “I think you’ll look amazing in it. And don’t worry, we’ll make sure everything is comfortable.”

I nodded, grateful for her reassurance. But deep down, I knew the real challenge wasn’t just the dress. It was Aizawa. How would he react when he saw me like that? And would I be able to keep my cool when all eyes were on me?

The festival was only days away, and the pressure was building. But one thing was certain: the Neko Maid Café was going to be an unforgettable experience.
