The central area was getting really crowded and I told Phaser this might be the time to send them to the hideout. He said "okay" in a weird manner like he didn't want to talk to me but then started creating one of his portals. "Hey, you guys, to everyone that's been saved, I know most of you don't know what's going on fully just yet, but you will soon. We need you to enter Phaser's portal, it will take you to the canyon Hideout where you will be safe. This is for the time being and so that you can get a full recovery. If you have any more questions, please hold them until the Omega Legion or I return. For those that can walk, I ask that you please help those that can't, we are still working on getting everyone out. It would help us a lot since it's getting cramped in here, plus it's not safe". At this exact moment a large boom came from the lower level. Some of them hurried and others forced themselves to move on their own. Several more heroes appeared from the platforms to greet us for two seconds before explaining they needed to leave. I looked over at phaser and asked if he was good so that I could investigate the noise. He said he was and told me that Fire-Soul and Screamer were down there. Passing Spiderweb, Ghost and Eiffel on my way I hurried down the ramp. Making a right turn and Screamer flew passed me, I reached out just in time and caught him. "What happened?" I asked desperately and he could only mutter "him". As I ran, I used my comm and asked who all was still here, Phaser's response was obvious I had just left from him. Stargazer responded along with Hummingbird, there was no word from Vortex. "New plan, he's here", I said still making my way down the hall, "Get everyone out now, make sure the other levels are clear. I'll need rescue for Screamer and Fire-Soul, I don't know how long I can hold him off. Taking my fingers from the earpiece I closed the channel and reached the end of my path. Smoke was clearing from the singed walls and the glowing eyes were staring back at me. Fire-Soul was lying at my feet unconscious, and I spelled her body to meet Screamer's.

I could have sent them to the central room but there was no time, Obliterator was hungry to kill. Only sound of him moving was with a buzz and he was right beside me, a shield formed and blocked the lasers. His eyes were redder than I've seen Lasa's and felt hotter. Soon my defense was melting, and it was time to change it up, I put my hands together and stored energy. When the shield burst apart, I met the attack with his diaphragm and unleashed, he flew backwards into the wall. Almost immediately he was emerging from the hole smiling at me unscathed. Another buzz and he was behind, one single punch from my left and my soul left my body. At least that's what it felt like when I hit the wall that marked the end of the hallway. Bricks and metal broke against me from the force, and I could feel my bones doing the same. My left arm, and my shin were cut up and bleeding, my head pounding. I couldn't let anything stop me, there were lives on the line, so I got back up. Wobbling a bit, I almost fell, my balance is wrong and im starting to feel that my breathing is bad. In one punch he did such a number on me, my healing had to work overtime. Restoring almost all of what was in pain I ran towards him. My next attack will have to do more than the last, I launched in the air facing him. Crossing my arms and pulling in my legs I almost landed at his face but jumped back in midair. He shot another round of lasers at me as I propelled upward, ice began growing from the bottoms of my boots. Completing the backflip and catching myself, one hand on the floor with a knee up and a foot behind me I landed. The ice had grown down beyond his head and onto the floor behind him, crystals were sticking out. When I thought I had gotten him he used his neck to break the ice trail, it crumbled to pieces, walking towards me a little bit he grabbed himself. Bringing his hand down revealed a cut on his neck, I got him, and he was staring at the blood. Meeting my eyes told me the same thing I felt when I first saw him down here, I was dead. Buzzing again and this time a kick, back into the wall I went with even more damage. I felt crushed, from the inside of my body and while stuck in the wall. "Who would do such a thing?", he began asking, we couldn't face each other since I was stuck.
