A Crumbling Society

Part 3-31

By now Arctic Fox had frozen the entire base of the building and up the front of it to keep it in place. I made an orb of black magic and hurled it back at the building since most of them were standing in front of it. None of them were part of my attack but because they all had something to say or add, why not. They're just as much the problem now as The Society and Impersona was. Each one of them will also just continue to kill as they please and it has to stop, they have to stop. The ice exploded into pieces sending shards in every direction. A good bit of them were caught in the path leaving them with giant wounds. Others were dead immediately upon impact from being stabbed. This pissed a good bit of them off quickly as they returned their looks at me that wanted me dead. Morgana had also shielded who she could including Obliterator, Anubis, Takeover, Deceptra and a few others. This time nobody was playing, and they all began getting into position to fight. Obliterator glided off the ground, Takeover turned into a form of a monster I believe. Anubis took her true form, she resembled a Jackal, growing in size to be taller than the others. Remaining blue in color but growing a snout and sharp teeth, her claws grew as she roared in anger. Lightning Rod took to the air as well, his whole body was living pure electrical energy, like he had champion level power. Together they took off, charging at me with such speed they reached me so quickly. Escaping a blow from Obliterator I then spiraled out of the way from Lightning Rod. Flying under the claws of Anubis I was greeted by Obliterator. Knocking a fist right across my jaw threw me sideways, this was when I got struck by lightning. Feeling the surge all throughout the inside of my body was awful, as if my cells were ripping themselves apart. Stunning me enough I lost concentration and when it stopped a huge blue fist smacked me. My body descended and slammed the ground in less than a second. My bones were completely broken, and the healing was doing its best to keep up. Hoisting myself out of the ground Obliterator was there waiting for me. Raising a fist, he aimed again to punch me, my hands reacted faster so my attack hit first. Blue energy against his chest and he was flung backwards, it was a damage spell. It casts however much damage the user has taken onto anyone who's attacked you.

The lightning attack returned but I countered it as well this time, sending it over the other villains. As it hit, multiple smaller streaks shot off in the opposite direction, when it stopped you could see Morgana had a hand up. She must have placed a shield around them, I might have to take her out if I want to get the rest of them. The light got blocked and I looked up, Anubis had a foot headed my way. Launching to the sky as fast as possible missing the foot, Lightning Rod came right back. He and I pursued hand to hand fighting throwing punches and kicks. My healing had recovered what was damaged fully so I was giving everything I had. After a few minutes of constant hits and dodging Anubis, Obliterator finally rejoined us. This time, he had a cut on his side, I could use this to my advantage I thought. When trying to fly over to him I was grabbed, a slight disappointment on my part. Not thinking, and Anubis grabbed hold, she pulled me up to her mouth. Allowing a front row view of each tooth she snarled at me before opening largely, I began moving closer. She must not know that I had a hand free, so I was able to cast. Producing a yellow ball of energy, I forced it down her throat, I continued to near her tongue. Waiting, she almost bit into my back when my magic started working. You could hear her wince in pain, like that sudden stomachache feeling. A couple more seconds and she exhaled deeply right as she let go of me, getting free I moved myself away. Getting the full view, she had slumped to the ground and was now lifeless. Her fighting companions exchanged a look with me, I just smiled to let them know I could defeat them. I put a ball of energy inside her, but it also shot off laser points to cut her from the inside. Similar to a disco ball but with firepower, Lightning Rod rushed me, and Obliterator tried to stop him. When he got near, he had already charged a punch, fist drawn back ready to hit. As he stretched his fist outward, I caught it, the look on his face of what came next was priceless. Holding on tightly I began to siphon his powers from him. The pure shock was written on the widened eyes, even Obliterator couldn't believe what I was doing. Just a few moments of keeping hold and soon Lightning Rod was no more. Pulling his fist and spinning him I launched him into where Morgana was. I could sense she brought the shield down for a split second to catch him and that's when I unleashed all the stolen power. A surge of black electricity etched and scratched its way towards them. His body was an actual lightning rod this time, being used to attract it as if I'm giving it back. Takeover caught him and slid backwards towards the other villains. I had also just noticed he must have been waiting for me to stay on the ground. He could have been in monster form to protect them if I headed that way as well. Either way, my lightning struck and in full force, times a hundred. The light was so intense it looked like the sun had risen from the ground. From where I was, I could feel each one of them getting hit, their screams, and their lives fading.
