Chapter 32: A Revelation of Love

The Kitchen Surprise

Elizabeth Olsen was feeling content, surrounded by her family. She stood in the kitchen with her mother and sisters, Mary-Kate and Ashley, laughing and joking as they cooked together. It was one of those rare moments of peace, a break from her busy career. Lucky, her loyal dog, was in the living room, chewing on the TV remote, which had been accidentally turned on.

"Lucky, no more Bluey!" Elizabeth called over her shoulder with a smile. "We’ll watch later." She laughed lightly, thinking about how obsessed her dog was with that show. But when she glanced toward the screen, her smile froze.

Suddenly, the lightheartedness of the kitchen vanished. "Breaking News: Dua Lipa and Y/N—Married for Two Years and Parents to a Son, River Atlas!"

The words felt like a punch to her gut. The mug in her hand slipped through her fingers, crashing to the floor in a thousand pieces.

Her sisters and mother turned at the sound of shattering ceramic.

"Elizabeth, what happened?" Mary-Kate asked, concern etched on her face.

But Elizabeth didn’t respond. She was frozen, staring at the TV. Y/N. Dua. Married. Two years. A son. River Atlas. The world around her blurred, and her mind struggled to make sense of what she was seeing.

Elizabeth’s mother quickly came over to her. "Lizzie? Are you okay? What’s going on?"

“Y/N…” she whispered, her voice hollow. “She’s married. And she has a child. With Dua Lipa.”

The Crushing Realization

Elizabeth’s chest tightened as she processed the information. It had been three years since she had last spoken to Y/N—the love she thought she would never lose. Now, it seemed like Y/N had moved on completely, not only getting married but also starting a family. And Elizabeth had known none of it.

Her mind raced, trying to comprehend everything. Two years. They had been married for two years, and Y/N hadn’t told her. But it wasn’t just that—they had a child. A son named River Atlas.

The name hit her like a freight train, and she felt the wind leave her lungs. She remembered the conversation so vividly. The memory surged through her like a bittersweet wave.

Flashback: Atlas

They were lying on a blanket in the park, bathed in the warm sun, talking about their future together. They had always joked about baby names, especially Y/N, who loved coming up with creative ideas.

"If we ever have a son," Y/N had said with a mischievous grin, "I think we should name him Atlas."

Elizabeth had laughed, pushing her shoulder gently. "Atlas? Like the Greek titan who carries the weight of the world on his shoulders?"

"Exactly," Y/N had said with a gleam in her eye. "Strong, resilient. It feels right."

Elizabeth had rolled her eyes, but deep down, she loved the idea. "Okay, Atlas it is."

Now, as she stared at the TV screen showing their son’s name—Atlas—her heart shattered. The name that was supposed to be theirs was now someone else’s reality.

The Hidden Wedding

Elizabeth turned toward her sisters, still in shock, but now with a growing sense of betrayal. “Did you know?” she asked, her voice trembling.

Mary-Kate and Ashley exchanged a glance. There was hesitation in their eyes, and that was all the answer Elizabeth needed.

“Lizzie…” Ashley began, taking a deep breath. “Yes. We knew. We went to the wedding.”
