As Jimin's warm breath brushed against her ear, YN felt herself drowning in the intensity of the moment. Their eyes were locked, and the world seemed to fade away. Her heart pounded wildly in her chest, her thoughts spinning as she became lost in the depth of his gaze. Jimin's arms held her firmly, his presence overwhelming, but in a way that felt oddly comforting.
For what felt like an eternity, neither of them moved, simply staring into each other's eyes. YN could feel her breath becoming shallow, her body frozen in the tension between them. She could hardly think straight with him this close.
Just as YN was about to say something—anything to break the silence— Jimin's phone buzzed loudly, breaking the spell. He frowned, clearly annoyed by the interruption, but he didn't immediately move. YN, suddenly aware of how close they were, blinked rapidly and took the chance to push him away just a little. But Jimin didn't budge.
he finally loosened his grip on her waist, though he quickly reached out and grasped her wrist as if he didn't want to let her go entirely. With a sigh, he shifted his attention to his phone, finally accepting the call.
Jimin: (into the phone) "Yeah, Jungkook?"
Jungkook: "Hyung! We're all going to the waterfalls nearby. You need to come quickly with YN."
Jimin: "Okay, we'll come directly. I'll take a cab."
As he ended the call, Jimin turned back to YN, that same teasing smirk still on his lips, though his expression had softened a bit.
Jimin: "Looks like we're going on another adventure, Muffin," he said playfully.
YN felt a rush of excitement mixed with nerves.Where are we going?" she asked, trying to keep her tone casual, though her heart raced at the thought of spending more time with him.
Jimin's playful grin widened as he nodded. "You'll see! Jungkook and the others are waiting for us. It'll be fun! Let's grab a cab."
They hopped into a cab, and Jimin leaned back comfortably, glancing over at her with an expectant smile. He didn't let go of her hand, and YN tried to remove her hand from his grip, but he tightened it, resting his head on her shoulder.
"What ar...e you do....ing, Jimin?" she stammered, taken aback by his closeness.
Jimin: "It takes 40 minutes, Muffin. Don't disturb me." He snuggled into her neck, and YN felt her heartbeat quicken, louder than before.
"I said don't disturb me."
"What did I do now?" she asked, slightly confused.
"Your heartbeat—it's louder," he replied, a teasing tone in his voice.
YN felt shy and placed her hand over her heart, surprised by how aware she was of its rapid rhythm.
"My heartbeat?" she stammered, suddenly feeling a flush creep across her cheeks.
Jimin lifted his head slightly, looking directly into her eyes. "Yeah, it's like a drum in here," he teased, a playful smirk dancing on his lips. "Are you nervous, Muffin?"
She couldn't find her voice for a moment, caught off guard by how easily he made her flustered. "I—no, I mean... it's just—" she trailed off, biting her lip as she tried to gather her thoughts.
Jimin's gaze softened, and he relaxed against her shoulder again, his warm breath tickling her skin. "Just relax. I didn't even start anything yet..."
YN's eyes widened in shock. "What do you mean?"
Jimin simply smiled, shaking his head playfully as he settled his head back on her shoulder. "Nothing, Muffin."
After a while, they arrived at the waterfall. YN's eyes widened in awe as she caught sight of the cascading water, sparkling in the sunlight. Excitement bubbled up inside her, and she couldn't help but jump out of the cab, running toward the beautiful scene.
"It's so beautiful!" she exclaimed, spinning around to take it all in. The mist from the waterfall kissed her skin, and she felt alive.
Jimin watched her with a warm smile, then called out, "You're more beautiful!"
YN froze, her heart racing at his compliment. She turned to look at him, eyes wide in shock. Just then, Bora and Jungkook approached them, and Bora took YN's arm, pulling her aside.
"Come on, let's explore!" Bora said, excitement dancing in her eyes.
As YN was led away, she turned back one last time to see Jimin watching her with that charming smile, his eyes sparkling with mischief and warmth.
"Have fun, Muffin!" he called, waving.
YN felt a flutter in her chest as she walked away, her mind racing with thoughts of the beautiful moments they had just shared. With Bora by her side, she couldn't help but smile back at Jimin, her heart full of anticipation for what the day would bring.
