The person at the door, however, didn't even glance at Jimin at first. Instead, they looked past him, their smile widening as they focused on YN. "I was in the neighborhood and thought I'd drop by for a visit. Hope that's alright!" they said nonchalantly, as if it were the most normal thing in the world.

YN blinked a few times, smile spread on her face. "Uh... yeah, sure. Come in, Uncle," she replied.

Jimin's gaze flicked between person and YN, his mind still spinning from the sudden appearance. As the words left her mouth, Jimin's eyes widened, and he stared at the man in disbelief. "Dad?" he gasped, his voice shaky with shock. "How are you here?"

His father, who had been acting so casual and relaxed, now turned to Jimin with a playful grin, almost as if he were enjoying the moment. "Oh, don't act so surprised, Jimin. It's been a while, hasn't it?"

Jimin's confusion only deepened. "But... you don't know this house," he said slowly, as if trying to piece things together. "How did you even find us? You've never been here before, Dad."

His father just shrugged nonchalantly, his grin widening even more. "Well, Jimin, you're not the only one who knows how to dig up a few secrets. I have my ways," he said cryptically, before glancing over at YN with a playful wink. "Besides, I thought I'd surprise you both."

Jimin was still in disbelief, his mind racing with questions, but before he could voice any more, YN spoke up, trying to break the awkwardness in the room.

"How are you, Uncle?" she asked politely, even though she still had no idea how to handle the situation.

His father nodded, his grin softening a bit. "I'm good. How are you both doing?" His tone was casual, almost as if nothing out of the ordinary had just happened.

Jimin, however, couldn't quite keep up with how casual they were both being. His mouth hung open in shock as he watched the exchange. "Are you not mad at me? Are you going to take her away?" he blurted out, his voice tinged with anxiety and confusion.

Jimin's father raised an eyebrow and chuckled lightly. "If I wanted to take her away, why would I have sent her to you?" he asked, as if the answer was obvious.

"What?" Jimin muttered, still trying to make sense of his father's cryptic words.

His father sighed, setting the casual tone aside for a moment. "I didn't know you two loved each other. It's your mom who did all of this without my concern. I want to apologize for what I did, but instead, I sent her to you, hoping it might work out." He paused, looking at Jimin with a serious expression. "But I didn't know she didn't know you were a scribbler. I told her by accident that you were one."

Jimin's eyes widened, and he couldn't believe what he was hearing. "You what? When did all this happen?"

Before his father could answer, YN came back from the kitchen, carrying two cups of coffee. She handed one to Jimin's father, then turned to Jimin, her expression curious. "When you texted me to meet you, I came right away," she said, sitting down next to Jimin. "But when I got there, I got a call from an unknown number. After talking to him, I found out that it was your father."

Jimin's mind raced, but before he could say anything more, his father took a sip of his coffee, looking at YN with a raised eyebrow. "While drinking coffee, is he bothering you?" he asked with a teasing grin.

YN didn't hesitate. "Too much," she replied with a playful roll of her eyes, though her tone was light.

Jimin's father chuckled, clearly amused. "Well, let's go to your home then. I'll drop you off."

Jimin, who had been quietly simmering with confusion and frustration, suddenly stood up and grabbed YN's hand, pulling it away from his father's reach. His grip tightened around her hand, his voice firm. "No. She's not going anywhere."

Jimin, however, was not ready to let her go. He had been silently simmering in confusion and frustration ever since his father's unexpected arrival. Without thinking, he stood up abruptly and grabbed YN's hand, pulling it away from his father's reach. His grip tightened around her hand, his voice firm and protective. "No. She's not going anywhere."

The playful exchange between his father and YN didn't seem to faze Jimin's father. He simply turned to them both, his grin softening slightly. "You two are something else," he said with a shrug, before whispering to YN, his tone gentler, "You should forgive him."

YN gave a small, understanding smile and nodded. She glanced at Jimin, before asking, "How are my parents?"

Jimin's father sighed softly, his smile turning into a more serious expression. "They are completely fine, still not talking with you?"

YN's face fell a little, her voice tinged with sadness as she replied, "I'm calling every day. They're still upset."

Jimin's father nodded sympathetically before turning to Jimin, his expression softening. "Take good care of her, Jimin," he said, pulling Jimin into a brief hug. "I'm sorry, son."

Jimin hesitated for a moment, caught off guard by the apology. But, after a beat, he hugged his father back, his voice quiet as he murmured, "I'm sorry too."

"Come home soon, Muffin," Jimin's father said, his voice light again, as he stepped away from them. YN nodded, offering a polite smile as he left.

As soon as Jimin's father was gone, YN made a move to leave as well, but Jimin grabbed her hand, his grip firm. He pulled her back to him, his brow furrowing in confusion. "What did he mean by all of that? When did you know about me? Why are you leaving? Why is he asking you to go home?" His voice was filled with a storm of emotions as he looked into her eyes, desperate for answers. "Are you leaving me?"
