With a nervous glance around, YN leaned in, her heart pounding in her chest. She brushed a soft, quick kiss on his cheek, pulling back immediately, her face flushed. But Jimin's smile only grew.
"That's it?" he whispered with an amused chuckle. "Not exactly what I had in mind."
"Oh, come on!" she whispered back, trying to stifle her laughter. "I think that counts."
He shook his head, clearly enjoying himself. "I'm not convinced. Meet me in the library during break... I'll claim a proper one."
Class ended....
Before she could respond, Bora nudged her, raising an eyebrow as if to say, "What's going on here?"
But Jimin leaned in close once again, his voice low. "Come with me, Muffin." He flashed her a challenging look that sent her heart into overdrive. Her mind screamed no, but her curiosity-and a whole lot of butterflies-said yes.
"Noooo, I'm not-" YN began, but before she could finish, Jimin grabbed her hand, pulling her gently but confidently toward the door. All eyes in the room followed them, Bora and Jungkook exchanging amused glances.
"Jimin, everyone's watching us," YN whispered, trying to pull her hand back, but he tightened his grip just slightly, reassuring her.
"Don't care, Muffin," he said softly, glancing down at her with that reassuring gaze that made her feel safe. They both walked, hand in hand, down the hallway, and soon reached the library.
Once they were inside, Jimin led her to a secluded corner between two tall shelves, away from prying eyes. He turned to her, his eyes warm as he stepped closer, reaching down to hold her hand, his thumb rubbing gentle circles on her skin.
"These last two days... I couldn't sleep properly," he whispered, his voice sincere. "you made it hard, sleeping alone."
YN's heart skipped a beat, her own hand instinctively holding onto his as she looked up into his eyes, feeling the warmth in his words wrap around her.
He smiled, brushing a soft kiss on her forehead, his hand still holding hers. "I want my fourth kiss, Muffin," he murmured, his thumb grazing her lips, making her heartbeat quicken. "Right here."
Her eyes widened in surprise. "What...?" she stammered, her voice a whisper.
"Yes, Muffin. And this time..." he leaned in, his gaze intense, "...you can kiss me back if you want."
She found herself stepping back instinctively, but he matched each step, closing the distance between them. His hand slipped gently around her waist, pulling her close, while his other hand went up, gently resting on the back of her neck.
His gaze softened, and he leaned in, pressing his lips softly against hers.
YN's heart was racing, her mind spinning, but she couldn't resist. She found herself melting into his kiss, and when he whispered on her lips, "Kiss me back, Muffin..." she did. She wrapped her arms around him, returning his kiss, getting lost in the moment, oblivious to everything else.
They were so wrapped up in each other that they didn't notice the library door creak open. Jungkook walked in, his eyes scanning the room until he spotted them. His jaw dropped, but he quickly turned around,
Jungkook quickly called out, "Hyung!" as he turned his back, giving them a chance to collect themselves.
YN and Jimin broke apart abruptly, her cheeks flushed pink as she hid behind him, clinging to his arm.
Jimin shielded her, looking mildly annoyed at the interruption.
Jimin cleared his throat, giving Jungkook an unimpressed look. "What's wrong, Kookie?"
Jungkook, still facing the door, replied, "Hyung, it's...well, your mom's here.
The shock hit Jimin immediately. "My mom?
"I'll be there in a sec," Jimin said, his voice steady but his mind racing. He turned back to YN, who was nervously looking down. He cupped her face, gently lifting so their eyes met.
"Muffin I'll be back soon, okay?" he whispered, a warm smile softening his expression.
