She smiled softly, teasing him further. Then, in a move that sent a wave of heat rushing through him, she blew a warm breath near his ear. His body tightened, his fist clenching involuntarily at his side. His mind was a blur of confusion and longing. He closed his eyes, fighting the wave of emotions threatening to overcome him.
"Muffin, you're unbelievable," he murmured, his voice thick with frustration and admiration.
She chuckled softly, a sound that made his pulse race, and ran her fingers gently through his hair, pulling him closer. He stumbled slightly, his heart hammering in his chest as he tried to regain his balance.
"Eyes on me, lover boy," she whispered, her tone playful but commanding.
Jimin's breath caught, and he immediately opened his eyes, locking onto hers. His body was trembling, but he couldn't look away. There was something about her-the way she controlled the moment-that left him completely helpless.
Her lips brushed his earlobe, and she held her position for a long moment, letting the tension build. Jimin's heart pounded in his chest as he stood still, unable to move, unable to speak. The sensation of her lips against his skin was almost too much, and he could feel his whole body reacting, his breath shallow and quick.
As she pulled away, her lips still lingering near his earlobe, she quickly composed herself, the playful smile never leaving her face. Jimin stood there, frozen, as if the world around him had stopped moving.
She turned away from him with a nonchalance that only deepened his confusion. "That's it for now," she said casually, as though nothing had just happened between them. The teasing, the electricity that had sparked between them, seemed to vanish into thin air. She picked up the shopping bags, as though the tension between them had been nothing but a fleeting game. "I'm going to take a shower," she said, walking past him toward the bedroom.
Jimin let out a deep breath, his chest rising and falling as he tried to control the storm of emotions inside him. Desire still simmered under his skin, his heart pounding relentlessly. She had just left him like that.
He placed a hand over his chest, feeling the erratic beat of his heart, trying to steady himself. His breathing was heavy, his mind racing. His fingers clenched slightly as he tried to regain some semblance of control. The cool air around him felt suffocating, every breath a struggle as his body screamed for release from the tension she had ignited in him.
He looked over at the bedroom door, where she had disappeared without a second glance. She had played him, controlled him, and yet, it was like she had never been affected at all, She had left him hanging in that moment, wanting more, needing more. Her nonchalance only made the desire burn harder.
Jimin swallowed hard, his throat tight, still reeling from the kiss on his earlobe-the gentle, teasing touch that had turned him into a mess of emotions. He shook his head, exhaling slowly, trying to push away the rush of emotions that were threatening to overwhelm him. "Muffin..." he whispered under his breath, the word heavy with longing. But she was gone now, in the bedroom, likely unaware of the effect she had on him.
The next day, Jimin was sitting on the sofa, scrolling through his phone, pretending to be occupied. But his mind wasn't on the screen-it was on her. That kiss from last night still lingered on his skin like an electric touch.
From the bedroom, her voice broke his trance.
"Jimin-ahhh..."
Jimin glanced up quickly, pocketing his phone. "What's up, Muffin?"
YN pouted playfully as she approached. "Can we go out for dinner? I'm feeling lazy to cook."
He smiled softly, running a hand through his hair. "Sure, Muffin. We can go wherever you want."
"Thank you, lover boy. I'll get ready," she said cheerfully, dashing off with a smile.
Jimin exhaled deeply and stood to get ready. Before long, he was seated back on the sofa, scrolling again while waiting for her.
Just then, Jungkook's name popped up on his phone, and Jimin answered the call.
"Hyung, are you still alive?" Jungkook teased, his voice light with mischief.
Jimin chuckled, shaking his head. "Ha ha, yes, Kookie, I'm still alive."
"How's it going with her?" Jungkook pushed, clearly fishing for gossip.
Jimin's expression softened, his voice dropping low. "I can breathe normally again now... because she's here with me."
Upstairs, YN-now dressed-paused mid-step as she heard his words. A faint smile tugged at her lips.
Meanwhile, Jimin remained facing the window, unaware of her approach.
The sudden tap on his shoulder made him turn.
When his eyes landed on her, everything inside him froze.
She stood there in a sleek black dress that hugged her curves perfectly. The slit on her thigh revealed just enough skin to make his heart pound, and the sleeveless design showed off her smooth shoulders. She looked stunning-beyond words-and his throat dried instantly.
He choked slightly on his breath, his wide eyes betraying just how overwhelmed he was.
YN blinked at him innocently. "Are you okay, Jimin?"
