YN stood frozen for a moment, her heart skipping a beat as she looked at Jimin, his usual confident smirk in place. The memories from last night's surprise-his teasing smile, the warmth of his presence-flashed through her mind, and she couldn't help but smile a little herself.
Jimin: "Let's go, Muffin."
His voice snapped her out of her thoughts. Muffin-the nickname he was starting to use more and more often. She opened her mouth to ask what he meant, but before she could fully form her question, Jimin reached out, grabbing her hand.
YN: "Wher...e?"
Before she could finish, he gently tugged her out of the room, leading her down the hallway. His grip on her hand was firm but not forceful, and the warmth of his touch sent her heart racing.
YN: "Jimin, where are we going?" she asked, still baffled by his sudden appearance.
Jimin: "I'm hungry. I want to eat ramen," he said casually, not breaking his stride as they walked down the corridor together.
YN's eyes widened in surprise. Ramen? The exact thing she had just been talking about with Scribbler. How could this be a coincidence? Her mind was racing, but she followed along, still processing how Jimin had shown up so suddenly-and now this?
They made their way outside and began heading toward a small restaurant nearby, the cool evening air brushing against their faces. YN was still in a bit of shock, but the steady pace of their walk and Jimin's calm demeanor grounded her. His hand never let go of hers, and though they didn't talk much, there was something comfortable in the silence between them.
As they entered the restaurant, the warm smell of broth and noodles surrounded them. Jimin finally released her hand, and they found a small table in the corner. He leaned back casually, that same teasing grin never leaving his face.
Jimin: "Ramen's on me. You seem like you could use it."
YN blinked, still trying to make sense of everything. She had craved ramen moments before, and now, here she was-with Jimin. There was something about the way he acted, so laid-back yet... familiar, that made her feel as if there was more to this than just a simple meal.
She watched him for a moment as he looked over the menu, the playful expression on his face softening when he wasn't looking directly at her. As the server came to take their order, YN couldn't help but wonder-was this really just about ramen?
YN: "Why ramen?" she finally asked, unable to suppress her curiosity.
Jimin glanced at her, raising an eyebrow.
Jimin: "What? Don't tell me you don't like ramen, Muffin?"
YN: "I love it... It's just... nevermind." She shook her head, deciding to drop it, her thoughts swirling.
Jimin leaned back in his chair, eyes twinkling with amusement as he watched YN's confused expression. He let out a soft chuckle and, without warning, reached across the table and gently tapped her forehead with his finger.
Jimin: "Are you thinking about last night?"
YN's eyes widened in shock. How does he know about last night? Her heart raced, and a slight blush crept up her cheeks as her mind scrambled to find the right words.
YN: "W-what? Last night?"
Jimin smiled, leaning forward slightly, his eyes locked on hers, teasing yet affectionate.
Jimin: "Come on, Muffin. Your face says it all. You're lost in thought."
YN swallowed hard, trying to compose herself, but Jimin's flirty tone and sudden shift in behavior were throwing her off completely.
YN: "I... I wasn't thinking about anything!" she said, her voice a little too high-pitched, betraying her flustered state.
Jimin raised an eyebrow, clearly unconvinced, his smirk growing wider.
Jimin: "Really? You sure about that?" His voice dropped lower, teasing yet almost gentle. "Because I'm pretty sure I saw you smiling to yourself earlier."
YN looked away, biting her lip, trying to avoid his gaze. This can't be happening, she thought. Why is he being like this?
YN: "I was just... I don't know. It's nothing."
But Jimin wasn't letting her off that easily. He leaned closer across the table, his voice dropping to a soft whisper.
Jimin: "Nothing, huh? Or maybe... it's something about me?"
YN's heart skipped a beat at his words. The playful edge to his voice, the way he was looking at her-it was too much. Her mind raced with memories from last night, from his teasing to the surprise of his presence now. She couldn't shake the feeling that there was more behind Jimin's actions than he was letting on.
YN: "You're so... confusing," she muttered, still trying to make sense of his sudden shift.
Jimin chuckled, sitting back again, clearly enjoying how flustered he was making her.
