After sitting down, Bora plopped next to me, nudging my arm with a grin. Before I could settle in, I heard a voice.

???: "Hi, new bee."

I turned to see one of the guys who had been standing with Jimin earlier. He extended his hand with a friendly smile.

Jhope: "I'm Jhope."

I shook his hand, smiling back. "YN."

Then, the other guy-Jungkook-popped up with a cheeky grin, offering his hand as well.

Jungkook: "Hi, I'm Jungkook, but you can call me JK."

My eyes flicked over to Jimin, who was already staring at me. It was unnerving, but I couldn't look away for a second.

Jungkook broke the moment, his voice pulling me back. "Your dimples are cute."

I turned to face him, giving a shy smile as I shook his hand. "Thanks."

But then I glanced at Jimin again, half expecting him to introduce himself like the others. But nope, he didn't even acknowledge me. He just opened his book and started flipping through the pages like I wasn't even there.

Jhope noticed the tension and quickly spoke up.

Jhope: "YN, if you need any help, feel free to ask us."

Before I could respond, Jimin's cold voice cut through the air.

Jimin: "You guys are disturbing the class."

I froze for a second, taken aback. Not because of his rudeness-no, that was expected-but because of how his voice could sound so sweet, even when laced with coldness. It caught me completely off guard.

After a long day at college, I finally made it home with Bora. I forgot to mention, Bora lives next door to us. Our fathers were college mates, and they bought houses next to each other. Bora and I have been friends since we were kids, though I spent a lot of my childhood with my grandparents. Despite that, Bora and I never lost our connection-we've always kept in touch, and it's like we never missed a beat.

As soon as I walked through the door, my mom greeted me with a warm smile.

Mom: "Muffin is back!"

Dad peeked from kitchen with a grin. "How was your first day, sweetheart?"

Jiho came rushing in. "Noona! How was your first day? Did you make any new friends?"

I dropped onto the couch, letting out a tired sigh, and smiled at them. "It was... interesting."

Bora, as usual, followed me inside, making herself at home. We sat and talked for a while about our day before she headed home. It felt nice to be back, to have that comfort after a long day.

After Bora left, I headed to my room to freshen up. As I stood in front of the mirror, brushing my hair, I caught myself thinking about Jimin again. I frowned at my reflection, wondering aloud, "Am I not looking good? Then why does he never look at me?"

I sighed in frustration, shaking my head. "Ugh, YN! Why do you even care that he doesn't look at you?!"

Before I could answer my own question, my mom's voice echoed from downstairs.

Mom: "Muffin! Dinner's ready!"
Dear Diary,

So, today was my first day of college. And it was... weird.

Everyone kept staring at me. Seriously, I don't think I've ever felt more self-conscious in my life. The whispers, the glances, the way everyone seemed to notice me... It was overwhelming.

Then, there were the guys-Jhope and Jungkook-they were friendly, especially Jungkook. He even complimented my dimples, which was nice. But then there was Jimin.

God, Jimin... He's like this walking iceberg. Cold, unreadable, and somehow... I don't know. Intense? He barely even looked at me today, except when he was being rude. And yet, I can't stop thinking about him. What's his deal?

Why do I even care that he doesn't acknowledge me? Ugh. Maybe I'm losing it.

A few days passed, and I settled into a routine at college. Bora kept things light and fun, while Jhope and Jungkook made me feel more comfortable. We were becoming friends.

Jimin, on the other hand, continued with his usual one-word responses, as if he couldn't be bothered to say more. I had given up expecting anything more from him, which was fine with me.

But everything changed when the professor assigned us a group project. Somehow, I ended up in the same group as Jimin, Jungkook, Jhope, and Bora. It was supposed to be a simple task-divide the work, discuss our findings, and present it together.

On the day we were discussing our project, the tension between me and Jimin finally came to a head.

We were all gathered around a table, going over our individual parts. I was explaining my point of view when Jimin interrupted me.

Jimin: "That's not going to work."

I blinked, frowning at him. "I haven't even finished explaining."

He didn't even look up from his notes. "I already know where you're going with it. It won't work."

The irritation rose quickly inside me. "And what, you just know everything?"

He finally looked at me, his expression cold and distant. "I'm better at this. You should trust me."
