YN's face grew even hotter as his words sank in. "J-Jimin!" she sputtered, flustered beyond belief. "It was an accident! Just... forget about it!"
He sat up fully, his grin softening into something more genuine. "Accident or not, you're still blushing," he teased, clearly enjoying the way she was squirming under his gaze.
YN groaned inwardly, wishing she could disappear from the embarrassment. "Just... get out!" she demanded, trying to sound firm, though her voice wavered.
Jimin chuckled and slowly stood up, walking towards her, but not without giving her one last teasing look. "Fine, fine, I'm going," he said, but then paused as he passed by her. Gently, he tucked a strand of hair behind her ear, his voice soft. "But for the record, Muffin... you don't have to be so embarrassed."
Her breath caught in her throat as he smirked, his face dangerously close to hers for a moment. Then, without another word, he turned and walked out of the room, leaving YN standing there, completely speechless and overwhelmed.
As soon as the door closed behind him, YN collapsed onto the bed, burying her face in her hands. "What just happened?" she whispered to herself, her mind spinning, replaying every second of their accidental kiss. Her heart was still racing, and she couldn't stop the fluttery feeling that lingered, even as she tried to convince herself that it meant nothing.
YN got ready in a daze, her mind still swirling from the morning's unexpected encounter. She made her way downstairs, searching for Jimin as she headed toward the dining area where Bora and Jungkook were sitting.
As she approached them, Jimin appeared behind her, carrying a plate piled with breakfast. Leaning in closer, he whispered teasingly, "Are you looking for me, Muffin?"
Startled by his sudden approach, YN stumbled a little, quickly shaking her head. "N-no!" she blurted out before hurrying over to Bora and plopping down beside her.
As they started eating, YN leaned closer to Bora, lowering her voice. "Why did you say okay to him for a shower in our room?"
Bora smirked, a mischievous glint in her eye. "If I said no, you wouldn't have had your kiss."
YN nearly choked on her food, her eyes widening in shock. She coughed a little as Bora quickly handed her a glass of water and patted her back soothingly. "Did you see?" YN asked, her cheeks flushed with embarrassment.
"Yep! Me and Jungkook both saw," Bora replied, trying to suppress her laughter.
Feeling utterly mortified, YN buried her face in her palm. "Oh my God!"
"What happened, Muffin?" Jimin asked, having overheard her outburst.
"Muffin??" Jungkook echoed, raising an eyebrow in amusement.
Bora leaned in, a teasing smile on her lips. "Yeah, that's her nickname at home. But she hates being called that in public. Don't call my Muffin 'Muffin' in public, Jimin. I will kill you."
Jimin's eyes sparkled with mischief as he replied, "Ohhhh, really? She's mine, so I can call her anything I wan-"
He stopped abruptly, realizing what he'd just said, his face suddenly a mixture of surprise and embarrassment. YN, Jungkook, and Bora all froze, their eyes wide with shock.
Jimin quickly adjusted himself, pretending to be distracted by his phone. "Uh, I think I just got a call," he mumbled, holding the phone to his ear as he hastily walked away, leaving YN staring after him, her heart racing even faster than before.
"What was that about?" Bora asked, breaking the silence as he glanced between YN and Jungkook.
"I have no idea," YN replied, her voice barely above a whisper. She felt a mix of confusion and excitement swirling within her, and she couldn't help but steal another glance at Jimin as he walked away, wondering what his words truly meant.
They all boarded the bus, YN took a seat next to Bora, trying to process what had just happened with Jimin. Across the aisle, Jimin sat with Jungkook, stealing glances at YN whenever he thought she wasn't looking. His earlier confession echoed in his mind, leaving him feeling both embarrassed and excited.
The bus ride was filled with laughter and chatter as they made their way to various nearby attractions. YN tried to focus on the beautiful scenery outside the window, but she found herself frequently glancing at Jimin, who seemed to be doing the same. Their eyes would meet for just a moment before they quickly looked away, both feeling the heat of the unspoken words hanging between them.
Throughout the day, they visited charming little shops, took goofy pictures in front of landmarks, and even enjoyed a delightful picnic in a park. But no matter how much fun they had, YN and Jimin's stolen glances became a silent conversation of their own, filled with curiosity and a hint of longing.
As night fell, they all gathered to head back home. The energy on the bus was lively, but YN couldn't shake the feeling of Jimin's gaze on her. She felt a mix of shyness and excitement as they sat closer together during the ride back.
Once they arrived at their homes, YN said her goodbyes to Bora and Jungkook. "See you tomorrow!" she called out, trying to keep her tone light, though her heart was still racing from the day's events.
As she turned to head inside, she felt a presence behind her. Jimin stepped forward, catching up to her. "Hey, Muffin," he said, a playful grin on his face.
"Uh, hi," she replied, feeling her cheeks flush as she nervously fiddled with her hair.
