Ellie reread Billie's response several times, still a bit stunned by the simplicity of their exchanges. The idea that Billie Eilish, one of the most influential artists of her generation, was speaking to her so casually was still a little overwhelming. She took a deep breath and began to reply, trying not to sound too nervous.

Ellie: "It really reassures me to know that you approve of the photos! Thanks again. By the way, a Detroit newspaper contacted me to publish some photos from the concert. Is it okay if I sell them a few shots?"

Ellie hesitated for a moment before hitting "send," her thumb hovering in the air. After all, she wanted to do things properly.

A few minutes later, as she tried to focus on her online classes, a new notification popped up. Her heart racing, she opened Instagram again.

Billie: "No problem for me man. Feel free to sell them, and don't hesitate to negotiate the best price, after all, it's fucking Billie Eilish in the photos."

Ellie let out a sigh of relief, laughing at the message. She now had the official green light. She quickly replied, thanking Billie.

Ellie: "Thank you so much! It's super reassuring to know everything's good, don't worry, I'm a pretty good negotiator."

The excitement of having such an opportunity began to give way to the nerves of wanting to get it right. The fact that Billie was so relaxed about the situation helped her a lot in not stressing too much. However, she still felt some apprehension about dealing with media. This was the first time she was going to sell her photos professionally.

Later in the day, between university classes, Ellie couldn't help but check her phone, hoping for a new message from Billie. Sure enough, another notification appeared on her screen.

Billie: "Don't worry, I trust you. I can't wait to see your photos everywhere. I'm sure they're going to make a splash."

Ellie smiled, touched by the trust that Billie seemed to place in her. It was surreal but also incredibly motivating. She allowed herself a moment to imagine her photos published in a Detroit newspaper, under Billie Eilish's name. It resonated with her, echoing pride within her.

Ellie: "Thanks again, this is all so crazy. I really hope it works out."

She hesitated for a moment before adding:

Ellie: "Good luck with your concert tonight, by the way. It's in L.A., right? I've heard the crowd there is always incredible."

Again, Billie replied quickly.

Billie: "Yeah, it's in L.A. tonight. The crowd here is always on fire, that's true. It's one of my favorite places to play."

A smile spread across Ellie's face. She could almost feel Billie's excitement through the screen, as if the prospect of the concert energized her. She couldn't help but think back to the time she attended one of Billie's concerts, completely swept up in the energy emanating from the stage.

Ellie: "It must be amazing to play at home. I would love to see another one of your concerts someday."

She didn't expect an immediate response, but to her surprise, just moments later, Billie wrote her back.

Billie: "You should come one day; it would be great to see you at a show. If you're around during my next tour, let me know. I could get you some tickets."

Ellie froze in front of her phone, stunned. She never would have thought that Billie would offer something so direct. The idea of being able to attend a concert with such ease, and even having reserved tickets thanks to her, was simply surreal. An involuntary smile stretched across her lips.

Ellie: "Wow, that would be really awesome. Thank you for the offer."

The idea that she could have this special connection with Billie was exciting but also a little intimidating. She wondered how far this professional relationship could go and how it might evolve. She knew these opportunities were rare, and she wanted to make sure she didn't mess them up.

Ellie's day continued with classes, work at the café, and knowing glances at herself as she thought about this incredible opportunity. During her shift, she kept discreetly checking her phone, even though no new messages had appeared since Billie's invitation.

When she got home that evening, exhausted but still smiling, Ellie collapsed onto her couch with a sigh. She contemplated what she would do next with her photos. She knew the first step was to respond to the Detroit newspaper. After that, she might need to think about other publications, other cities. The idea of a future where her concert photos would be sought after by the press suddenly felt tangible.

Livaï, came to snuggle against her, as if to share in this moment of calm. Ellie absentmindedly petted his head while reflecting on everything that had just happened.

A new notification on her phone caught her attention. A message, once again, from Billie.

Billie: "By the way, if you ever want to do more photos, we could see about you shooting on other dates of the tour. You have such amazing talent, and it would be cool to have you on board."

Ellie blinked, stunned. Billie had just offered her something she hadn't even dared to imagine. Not only had she liked the photos, but she was also offering her the opportunity to follow part of her tour. Ellie felt a mix of panic and excitement rising within her. She knew this could be a huge turning point for her career, a unique chance to break into the world of concert photography.

With trembling hands, she took a deep breath before replying.

Ellie: "That would be an incredible opportunity. I honestly didn't expect such trust, and I would be honored to follow you on other dates."

She sent the message before she could change her mind. An offer like that was not something to refuse.
