The trip into town was not long at all.
With the palace being at the centre of the kingdom we only had to walk a good 15 minutes or so.
The town was bustling with people when we arrived. I couldn't help but feel a little excited. It had been quite some time since I had last been down here. There were so many things I wanted to do and see.
Before I got too excited though I remembered about the man with me.
Glancing over at him I watched as he looked around the town.
"You said you've been here before. Has it been a long time?"
The man nodded his head in response.
He looked out a little longer before looking down at me. Seemingly waiting to see what I'd do next.
"Why don't we—"
"Princess!!"
Before I could finish my sentence I heard someone call out to me.
Turning to the side it wasn't long before I felt something come crashing into the bottom of my dress.
I let out a small gasp as I looked down to see the small child that clung to me.
She tilted her head up a bright smile on her face as she hugged me tightly.
"Oh! Klee!" I said surprised.
"Hi!" She smiled even wider.
"See I knew you'd come back soon!" Klee said excitedly.
My heart fluttered from how cute she was and I bent down to hug the girl back.
Klee nuzzled her face into me.
"Hehe well aren't you a smart cookie. Did you run off from your brother again?"
Another familiar voice replied for her, "She did."
I looked up to see her brother Albedo coming our way.
"And Klee you know better then that. Don't ambush the Princess you'll give her a heart attack one day." Albedo scolded.
Klee let go of me and I stood back up.
She puffed her cheeks out and crossed her arms turning her nose at her brothers comment. I couldn't help but laugh at their interaction.
