The next morning I had woken up earlier than usual. It was about 4am but I was certain Ayato was already awake.

So I hurried to get dressed and was out from my room as fast as I could. Slamming the door behind me I looked around.

There was nobody in the hallway at this time, but that was to be expected. It was way too early for anyone to be awake. Except for Ayato of course... and myself now too.

Unexpectedly, the door next to mine was shoved open causing me to jump back in fright. I fell right on my behind and held my chest as I looked up in shock.

Capitano stood at the entrance of his door staring down at me. In one hand he held the door in another his sword.

My heart kicked into overdrive at the sight, but that hadn't been the only reason. Capitano had nothing on but pants and his helmet. His chest was completely bare.

My face warmed up at the sight and I was left speechless.

"Are you alright?" Capitano looked at me and then looked around the area.

"Y-Yes I'm fine..." I replied.

It took me a moment to realize why Capitano had come out so quickly.

He must have heard my door slam and assumed something was wrong. I let out a breath of relief before laughing a little.

"Sorry I didn't mean to scare you. I was just a little determined to go find Ayato."

Capitano let out his own sigh before relaxing and loosening his grip on his sword.

"I see. Give me a few minutes and I'll accompany you."

"Ah its okay! I didn't mean to disturb you. You can go back to sleep if you'd like."

But Capitano shook his head and looked around the hall one last time just to be sure.

"Wait for me."

Mindlessly, I nodded my head.

My eyes were still focused on his chest until he turned away and closed the door.

Holy...

I had seen some of the knights shirtless before but Capitano... you could clearly see the muscles and outline of his chest. He looked solid...
