We made more head way on our trip.
The days had gone and went.
We were getting very close to Sumeru now.
I couldnt lie the closer we got the more my nerves began to react. This was going to be a cruical visit. I could not afford to mess things up.
The trip so far hadn't been bad. We continued to keep our identities hidden and no one ever suspected a thing.
Less than a day.
Less than a day was all we needed before we finally reached Sumeru.
"We'll make another stop tonight and reach Sumeru by morning," Capitano commented.
I nodded my head
Even though I was nervous I was still a bit excited. It had been a long time since I last travelled to Sumeru. Too long in fact. I barely remembered the place.
"Have you been to Sumeru before Capitano?" I asked out of curiosity.
Capitano who had been looking out the window turned his attention to me.
He confirmed with a nod.
"Recently or a long time ago?"
"A long time ago," He replied.
"Hmm so you probably don't remember all that much either..." I mumbled out loud.
"I remember a bit," He answered, "Though it may have changed now."
"Most likely," I replied, "I only remember a bit of the palace from when I was a child. I remember thinking the kingdom was a beautiful place as well. Its surronded by nature. Many of the people there have a connection to it."
Little brief flashes of beautiful flowers and vine covered buildings passed through my mind.
That was about all I could remember from it unfortunately.
"That is understandable. Considering their long history of magic users with those sort of powers."
"Oh?" That piqued my interest.
"The royalty of Sumeru have all been users of dendro magic. Every single one who has ascended the throne had it."
"Really? Wow some nations are so different." I commented.
"Its a weird phenomena," Capitano continued, "Theres no sure way to determine ones magic but Sumeru royalty all seem to end up with dendro."
"That means the last Queen is a dendro user right?"
Capitano nodded, "Perhaps the most powerful of all dendro users."
My eyes widened a bit, "Really?? I thought King Al haitham was more powerful."
