After training I had finally gotten an earful from Ayato. He had discovered my little trip yesterday and although he wasn't mad that I had gone out he was upset that I had skipped my classes.

The only one who didn't get a scolding was Capitano.

Though I guess it was fair considering he was only listening to me... its not like he could just let me run off on my own...

The day had ended and night had finally arrived. I laid on my bed staring up at the ceiling.

Tilting my head up I noticed the clock said 2am.

I dropped my head back onto the bed and let out a sigh. I couldn't seem to fall asleep today. My mind hadn't slowed down since I first tried to rest.

There was just so much to think about. In no time at all I'd be going to meet Al haitham and Ajax. Then I had to attend that celebration.

To be honest, I had so many questions. For example, what did Ajjax want? We had all talked many tines before but it always amounted to nothing.

Was he trying to do something by using Sumeru's backing as a threat?

It was hard to tell because King Al haitham had agreed to speak before any decisions were made. His decision alone could decide the fate of this war. With their knowledge and power Ajax would have an easier time if he tried to invade.

I was never going to get any sleep if I kept thinking like this.

Getting up from my bed I glanced over at the balcony.

Maybe some fresh air would help.

Making my way over I pulled the curtains open before unlocking the door and stepping outside.

There was a light breeze in the air.

I closed the door behind me and stepped over to the railing. Letting out another sigh I leaned against it looking out at the garden below.

It was surprisingly warm out. Instead of focusing on my thoughts I tried to focus on that gentle breeze. I closed my eyes for a few minutes.

It was such a silent night. No laughing or yelling, no knights training, no commotion from the staff. Just peace and quiet.

It was the perfect thing to give my mind a bit of peace.
