We made our way into the fancy shop and were flocked around the moment we entered. I took a step backward my head hitting Capitano's chest. The wave of people had surprised me. Capitano wrapped an arm around me.
"Yae." I whispered.
She only looked at me with a smile.
"Excuse her ladies, our princess is a little shy." Yae teased.
My face heated up and then warmed even more upon feeling Capitanos arm around me. His grip was firm but not too tight. I could feel some of the strength in his arm. No wonder many had wanted to challenge him in a fight. If this was just a small portion of his strength I wouldn't ever want to feel the full amount of it.
The workers all gave me smiles and some rushed off to return to their normal duties. Only two remained now.
"Lady Miko the dresses you requested are all ready if you'd like to begin trying them on." One of the ladies commented.
"That would be wonderful. Please lead the way."
The ladies nodded before turning around and heading for the back of the store. Yae followed after them and Capitano's hand unwrapped around my waist.
I snuck a glance at him to find him staring back down at me.
My cheeks warmed and I looked away quickly to avoid anymore contact.
With Yae getting further away I quickly hurried after her, Capitano following suit.
We made it to the back of the store and passed through a door into a private room. The room had a small stage at the center with a dressing room at the back. There were a few seats before the stage.
"Wait Yae—"
But Yae would have nothing of it. She waved her hands to brush me off.
"Do take a seat Sir Knight. You as well Princess."
I looked at her a little confused.
Yae crossed her arms, "I'm picking out a dress as well. Plus its more entertaining to save the best for last. Oh that reminds me is he also going to be attending the party?"
I looked up at Capitano.
I hadn't even considered that but of course he was.
