ʚɞ Adeline ʚɞ

March 13, 2005

"Isn't this peculiar," The sound of my brothers voice woke me from my literal REM sleep.

Rubbing my eyes, I cracked them open and glared at Johnny...and Declan and Grace.

I could feel Gerard stirring beside me. He'd snuck into bed with me at half two in the morning but I didn't mind. I felt more safe with him in my bed than being alone.

"Shhh," I groaned, "It's too early for this."

Grace held up her phone and snapped a picture of my deranged bed head and Gerard lying next to me.

"Gracelyn!" I whined, "Help me out here."

"Sorry, babe," She grinned, "This is extremely entertaining."

"What with the racket?" Gerard's morning voice had me nearly screaming at everyone to get out so I could makeout with him.

"The racket is I left you with strict instructions to stay on the bleeding couch," Johnny shot out, "And here you are in my little sister's bed." Johnnys eyes moved to Gerard's pants that were in a ball on the floor, next to his t-shirt, "Those better not be your clothes."

"Okay," Gerard grinned, "They aren't my clothes."

"Gibsie, I'm not against strangling you," Johnny hissed, his fists balling at his sides.

"Relax," Declan rolled his eyes, "She's still clothed, and did you really think Gibs was going to stay on the couch? Are you that stupid?"

I gave Declan a grateful smile and he winked at me. Thank god for my twin brother.

"He is that stupid," Grace nodded, "But he's pretty enough that it cancels out."

"Pack it in, all of ye!" Johnny ordered, "And you," He glared at Gerard, "Put your bleeding clothes on and get out of Adeline's bed. I've lost my phone and we need to look for it."

"I was kind of hoping for a fight," Grace frowned, "I love a good fight, especially when the lads are hot."

"You're disturbed," Declan shuddered, and then looked at Gerard, "Put a shirt on, lad. You're giving me the creeps."

"It's perfectly fine by me if he keeps it off," I grinned, feeling Gerard's hands tighten around my waist.

"Keep that to yourself, Ads," Declan sighed, following Johnny out of the room.

I cuddled back into Gerard's chest, wishing I could stay here forever. These days I hated getting out of bed or being awake for that matter. Because everyday that passed was another day I was reminded of what Stephan McGarry did to me.

And even though it'd been over two months it felt like it happened yesterday, that's how vivid the memory of it was.

When Grace climbed into bed next to me and pushed me closer to Gerard I smiled.

"So, tell me," She grinned, "How far did you go last night?"

"Gracelyn!" I gaped, "We literally just slept."
