Carrie's POV

My walls came crashing down as I slid down the wall with tears streaming down my face. I couldn't believe Alexander had said all that to me.

"Please don't be dramatic, he was bound to get fed up"

"NO one can keep up with your bullshit"

"Take his advice and DIE"

"NO" I screamed clutching my head in my hands "Please stop"

"Carrie" Someone called shaking me to wake up

"What?" I replied grudgingly

"Some teachers asked of you today even Kayode" Sharon replied saying beside me "I am worried about you Car".

"I am fine" I said lowly and she hummed in response.

Minutes passed without neither of us saying something. We both knew I was lying, everywhere was silent with unspoken words.

"I am sorry"

"Just don't lose yourself in the process" She replied squeezing my hand "I am always here for you".

My mind went reeling, I had missed today's exam because of Alexander. I didn't think someone's words could affect me this much. Alex's words hurt ,e more than anything Nathan has ever done to me.

"Alex looked for you too. He said he is sorry" Sharon drowsily added before drifting off to sleep.

Alex's POV

"You did what?" Alexandra yelled at me making me feel worse than I did "you told her to basically go and die, you freaking told the girl you like to die".

"Yeah" I replied and she continued slapping my head "Ouch, in my defense I just wanted her to wake up before it's too late".

"If Carrie does anything drastic because of what you said, then forget you know me" She retorted in anger.

"Alexandra" I called but she didn't look back.

I didn't want to accept it but I was scared that deep down Carrie was going to do something drastic but the big question was when.

"Shit" I cussed hitting my head on the door.

"Omo guys, I hear say Kayode dey retire oo" Dele said laughing

"Omo ooh I don tire for that guy make I no lie" Charles added and they laughed.

I wasn't paying attention to what they were saying because suddenly all that consumed my thoughts was Carrie.

"Bro, are you good?" Leo asked staring at me

"Yeah I am fine" I replied staring at the physics textbook infront of me.

"Alex, how are you and Carrie?" Dele asked suddenly turning serious.

What was I to reply to that question, all thus guys were protective of her and I had juts messed up big time.

"Good, I guess" I lied

"I am scared for her to be honest, she hasn't been herself since" Leo commented "Almost like she is scared".

I couldn't reply to that statement because I knew he was right. Carrie was changing drastically and I couldn't do anything about it.

"If left to me, I will ask her to break up with that Nathan dude, he looks too shady for his own good" Charles indicated.
