Always together, never apart, maybe in distance, but never in heart.

Avery's POV

"Have any of you seen Carrie?" I questioned as we all sat together for prep.

"Nah, I honestly didn't see her at all today" Leonard said.

"Guys, I think something is up with Carrie. No offense but she hasn't been herself since she came back" Sharon stated wearily.

"She won't even talk to me, she always evades the questions" I added.

"We can't help her, if we don't know what to do" Dele said.

"But we can try though"

"Hey guys" Charles hollered as he walked over to where we sat "So una dey do meeting you no call me".

Charles kissed my cheek and did his bro shit with Leo and Dele before greeting others.

"Where is Oscar?" Chika asked.

"Probably reading somewhere" He shrugged "Anyways who has seen my cousins abeg?".

The question hung in the air as no one had a definite answer. Carrie and the twins have been MIA of recent.

"Well last I saw, Alexa was looking for Alex so they are probably together" Leo said breaking to the silence.

"Okay, Dele, abeg come teach me F.maths abeg" Charles stated pulling Dele out with him.

"Leonard, go with your mates" Sharon said slapping his head.

"Guy na" Leo whined before standing up to join the boys.

After they left, we all sat in silence again. We had this sort of unspoken agreement.

"So, Economics is the first paper abi?" I asked Sharon as Chika began to solve her physics questions.

"As it seems" Sharon replied

The whole school building was quiet as the weight of exams dawned on everybody. We were currently seated in Ss3 Lily.

The classroom door was opened and Bisi walked in with Kamsy. She was also busy this days but I guess responsibilities are everywhere.

"Listen up guys, the management has decided that we will start afternoon classes from Monday" Bisi said as the whole class groaned in response.

"Guy na"

"Nawa una go just dey take decision without informing anybody"

"Some people dey too do oo"

"Ohh na, when will I na sleep"

Peter's comment made the class burst into laughter. The guy was always sleeping, no cap.

"Well, we will end classes for the day by 4pm, after which siesta is from 4-6, then dinner, then prep from 8-9:30" Kamsy replied not helping the matter.
