Two months have gone by now.

Denki was well into the third month of his last year of middle school. Everything was going smoothly according to his plan.

On a random one day, he convinced his Aunt Kiko to make him an intern at her hospital department of taruma patients  ward and his Aunt agreed to his request as his quirk could be used in electric shock therapy and also speed up the healing process of the deep cut wounds.

In three months, he had gotten so good at healing both the trauma victims and patients wounds and he also made it a habit to carry star shaped candies and gummy bears and mini soft toys with him, when visiting them during their checkup routine.

And during his three month internship he also made a friend named Estella, who comes for rehab every two weeks for her legs.

She had been injured in a car accident which resulted in a spinal cord injury leading to paralysis of both her legs.

And what was more shocking to him, when he found out that she was the famous EMERALD not that emerald the EMERALD, who was famous for creating hero costumes and support gear and weapons.

She was known for her elegant designing costumes which left many uprising heroes wanting her to design their costumes but she had a strict policy and rules as her costumes were not meant for all.

They were only designed for heroes who truly deserved it and these costumes were made with love were not meant for greedy and selfish evil heros.

And Denki was also so awed to find out that Estella was the same age as him which was the most surprising part for him.

Estella had skipped a few grades due to her high IQ level and he had also come to know during a conversation with her on her rehab therapy session to why she had stopped taking requests from heroes and support companies due to depression.

But now she says she has found her spark and promised to design his costume and weapon, hearing this made Denki very happy and grateful for her help and she also had promised to help him with his preparation for UA entrance exam.

(*Estella is a character inspired by Tomoya; she is a character from Cardcaptor Sakura).

His internship at the hospital was on the weekends only, while during his school days he would study for the UA entrance exam either at the library or study at home while face timing Estella.

She was really of great help to him.

He understood even those concepts where Bakugou would have failed to explain it.

He even asked his father for help who was a physics lecturer at a university in the USA.

Middle school had officially ended for Kaminari Denki .

He skipped happily from the stairs while humming to himself when all of a sudden someone grabbed him by the shoulder and spun him around .

Kaminari's eyebrows went up to his hairline, when he saw who it was.

It was Daichi and his extra two goonies standing behind him. Both three of them had a smug look.

Diachi was the first one to say, "How can UA accept such a dumb person into their school." while saying this he squeezed Kaminari's right shoulder hardly and this makes Denki wince, he could feel his school jacket burning from his bully's palm's heat quirk now moving down to his skin.

Kaminari takes a deep breath and says very slowly with intonation in each word looking straight into daichi eyes with determination burning in his eyes, "At least I have a place where I am accepted unlike you jerk".

Kaminari uses his quirk to lightly electrocute Diachi,  so Denki does not fall under the category of misuse of his quirk.

If asked why he did it. If he was caught by a teacher,he could say he had used his quirk as part of self defence also at the same time to keep his report from getting negative remarks .

As UA only considered the brightest among the stars and he did not need that happening with him.

Diachi quickly removes his hand from the shock while his two friends cower in the back from the fear of getting electrified.

While looking with fear at Kaminari with shocked faces was this the same kid who they had bullied standing up for himself.

Watching their scared shit faces Kaminari  walks away feeling satisfied with himself and resumes back to his usual humming and catches his reflection on one of the outside windows of the school building of his ruined uniform.

Seeing the ruined state of his uniform Kaminari shrieks and digs his hand into his pants pocket for his phone. He clicks   facetime on Ela's name.
( a nickname which Estella asked him to call her since they had become close friends.)

After a few rings Ela answers the video call with a fond smile, "Hey Denki san! I hope you are prepared for tomorrow!".

Kaminari yells into the video call, "Ela my uniform is ruined and I am required to wear a uniform for the written exam and for the practicals I have a gym fit but this-". Using his finger to point at the ruined state of his school jacket.

Ela smiles again and says, "Calm down Denki san. Wear a button up white collar shirt and a baby blue sweater along with black pants and also those rimmed glasses in which you look absolutely adorable!".

Kaminari stares at the screen for some time and with a relieved expression and  says,"You're a life saver Ela!!".

Upon seeing Kaminari's cute expression through the video call Estella smiles at the screen and says, "All the best for tomorrow."

After saying goodbye to each other, the video call ends and Kaminari begins to walk towards the setting sun with a look of determination.
