The Second Day of internship

The second day was quite ok for Denki. He was not as bored as the first day as an old lady had accidentally dialed the helpline number thinking she was calling an old friend.

Denki had a pleasant time having a conversation with her and to his astonishment and she had a quirk, where she can communicate with cats and she had like 15 cats at her home.

Soon dinner time came. Denki went to the cafeteria to check what was being served but he did not feel that hungry, since he did not do much which required any movement.

He spots a vanilla ice cream sandwich among the buffet display options and grabs it and sees everyone occupied on tables with their friends and chatting happily with them.

Making Denki feel a bit  left out and  lonely as he did not have anyone to hang around or have a conversation with during his free time.

During his working hours, Mr. Hiroki kept a hawk eye on Denki, watching all Denki's movement and waiting for the opportunity to strike and berate Denki.

Denki sighs at his sudden feeling of loneliness. He really missed having a conversation with Lizzy during dinner time.

Denki manages to find a cozy seating area outside the cafeteria with a beautiful night view of the skyscraper and tall buildings and a downview of the moving  traffic and he could also see the train crossing the bridge.
The view was quite serene to Denki.

Denki grabs a lounge chair and sits down and brings out his phone to check if he has received any messages from his friends.

Sadly he received none.

He could not blame them as they all wanted to pursue their goal in getting better in the internship and sighs and tries to open the packaging of the vanilla ice cream sandwich, when someone places a tray of cold soba in front of him.

Denki looked up to see Torodoki Shoto standing there. He looked handsome as usual in his hero costume.

Torodoki Shoto's eyes move to the ice cream sandwich in Denki's hands and he quickly grabs it from Denki's slender fingers.

This sudden behaviour  from Torodoki Shoto shocks Denki making him say, "Hey!". 

Denki tries to reach for the sandwich but Torodoki moves it away from his arm's reach and says, "How about you have some soba, then I might consider giving you the ice cream sandwich back".

Denki can only stare at Torodoki Shoto as if he had grown two heads.

Now it's Shoto turn to sigh and say, "Don't think I haven't noticed that you are skipping your meals and even birds eat better than that".

Denki was about to protest at  Torodoki's comment.

But stops when Torodoki Shoto narrows his eyes and says one word, "Eat".

Denki immediately sits down and grabs the soba tray towards him and with the help of the chopsticks and starts chewing on the noodles.

With a satisfied smile, Torodoki Shoto sits down and places his chin on his palm, while he watches and Denki eat the cold soba.

After some time, Torodoki Shoto stops beating round the bush and asks Denki how he is finding the internship so far.

Denki immediately jumps with joy and tells him how an old lady had called the helpline number accidentally and says that if she had not called he would have been bored to death.

Denki realises that he should not have said the last part and covers his mouth with his hand and looks with horror about what he did and sees Torodoki Shoto's face change into a dark expression.

Torodoki Shoto gets up immediately from his seat, before handing Denki back his ice cream sandwich, which was surprisingly cold and leaves the lounge area.
