Denki's eyes flutter open and he groans in pain and quickly shuts his eyes tightly because of the blinding overhead lights of the hospital room made the room look extremely bright and white.
Sleepy Denki turns his head and blinks to the side to see his Greenette freckled friend speaking softly on the phone looking all clean and dressed up in a UA uniform beside the white bandage covering his knuckles and hands.
From the soft tones of his friend's hushed voice. Denki assumes Midoriya is speaking to Uraraka Ochako on the mobile.
Izuku ends the call after whispering bye to Uraraka Ochako and says that he has to go back to Gran Torino for his internship as he is all well enough now to continue with his internship duties.
Izuku ends the call and walks towards Denki's bed to see the still healing injured fragile boy was semi awake now.
Denki blinks and looks at Midoriya approaching him and tries to smile but fails miserably as his ribcage is shooting an odd upward pain, when he tries to move his body into a sitting position, so instead he chooses to lay still on the bed.
Izuku furrows his brows at Denki's pained expression and stands beside his cot and asks him, "How was he feeling?".
Denki just nods his head tiredly.
Midoriya looks ultra worried now at Denki's sluggish behaviour.
Denki sighs mentally and says, "M kay. Just very sleepy".
Denki feels his eyelids becoming heavy and closes his sleepy eyes and feels Midoriya gently ruffling his hair and a quick kiss being placed on his forehead.
Denki does not open his eyes until Midoriya walks out of the room into the hallway before his footsteps disappear down the hall and could be heard no more.
Denki opens his eyes and pulls his blanket over to his head to hide his face from the nurse as a lovely shade of pink blush crept up his already rosy cheeks.
"Damnit Izuku! Now I have mixed feelings for you".
