After the sports festival, they got a two day holiday.
Denki utilised his two days by doing his laundry and made sure that all his black turtleneck shirts were washed this time and caught up with Estella at the local cafe, who fondly listened to Denki's sports festival event narration.
He and Lizzy caught up with the latest episodes of Detective Conan.
Two days went by like a bliss for Denki
....
The next day it was pouring outside. Kaminari Denki walks to the metro station and waits for the metro to arrive, while holding his hot chocolate tumbler for warmth and comfort.
Soon the metro arrives and he steps inside the metro bound for UA high.
As soon as Denki entered his carriage, he was bombarded with high school girls asking for his phone number as they recognised Denki from the UA sports festival event.
Denki hesitantly declines against giving his number to them and moves away from there to the next carriage. And comes across Bakugou Katsuki, who was leaning on the electronic doors with a faraway look in his ruby red eyes.
Denki did not know how to describe this new Bakougou's expression. One word that was coming to Denki's mind was that he looked kind of soft, when he was calm and quiet.
Denki sighs and starts moving towards Bakugou Katsuki and stands opposite to him and says, "Hey!".
Bakougou grunts to Denki's greetings.
Denki frowns and remembers that Bakugou Katsuki never liked the raining weather and then Denki's eyes moved to the warm tumbler in his hands.
Denki brings the tumbler forward towards Bakougou. Bakugou stares at the tumbler held by Denki's slender fingers and gives him a quizzical look by raising his one eyebrow.
Denki gives Bakougou a huge smile and says, "It's hot chocolate. It might cheer you up. I have not taken a sip from it yet".
Bakugou carefully takes the tumbler from Denki's hand and takes a few sips from the tumbler and utters, "It's good".
Both stand in silence staring at the passing by scenery.
Soon the metro reaches the station, both the boys step down from the carriage and start walking the hilly slope.
It had stopped raining though the sky was dark and cloudy, both the boys continued walking in silence until Denki got splashed accidentally by a moving vehicle and Bakougou Katsuki started spewing all types of profanities at the poor trembling driver, who was mumbling apologies continuously non-stop.
Denki puts his hands up and asks Bakugou Katsuki to calm down but instead Bakugou starts gritting his teeth at Denki like an angry pomeranian stomping his feet and starts walking away slouchingily towards UA gates, while Denki runs behind Bakougou telling him to wait up for him.
