Soon the police arrived at the shopping mall along with some of the famous local Pro Heroes of that area and the mall was forced to shut down and a thorough search was conducted and at the end there was no sign of Shigaraki Tomura and it was surmised that he had used a teleportation quirk to escape.

After that the two police officers take both Denki and Izuku Midoriya to the station to take their statements individually.

Denki's statement was taken by Mr. Tsuchahi. Denki was quite aware about the man's quirk and answered his questions quietly nodding his head.

In his mind he prayed that both Midoriya or Uraraka make mention of the unexpected kiss to the police or their to  classmates.

At the every thought Denki could feel the bile rising up his throat even when his stomach was empty but controls himself from vomiting in the interrogation room.

After taking in their statements, they are finally allowed to go home and All Might is called to the police station. Denki assumes he must have come for Midoriya. While Denki is sadly informed that none of his family members can come to receive him.

He will be dropped at his house by Mr Sansa. Denki nods his head softly with a sad look. Unfortunately Midoriya takes notice of this. When Denki turns around to follow Mr. Sansa towards the waiting police patrol car.

He hears his name being called followed by frantic footsteps running towards him, "Kaminari-kun!".

Denki stoically turns around to face Midoriya who lets out a gasp when he sees the boy features illuminated from the neon street lights giving him a soft glowy look but his sad eyes were quite noticeable.

Midoriya frowns and searches his pant pockets while Denki stares at his Greenette friend in confusion.

Midoriya smiles and brings up his fist up to be bumped. Denki bumps Midoriya's fist and Midoriya opens his fist and places a cute yellow sequin sea turtle keychain in his palms.

Denki stares at the yellow sequin sea turtle keychain in surprise and it looked so pretty and glittery in the streetlight.

From the cute little keychain, Denki looks up to meet Midoriya's hopeful green eyes, there is a flash of something else that Denki could not find the exact word to describe and sees the boy's cheek covered in light pink blush but the does not shy away from his stare.

'How can everyone call this boy plain looking person. When you can obliviously see how handsome he is. Jeez those people really need get their eyes checked.

Denki is brought back from his thoughts by a fake cough by Mr. Sansa. The cat man tells him to hurry as he had other duties to attend to after this.

Denki mutters an apology and gives Midoriya a small soft smile and says, "Thank you".

Denki gets into the car and shuts the door and the car starts moving

Midoriya stands watching the vehicle slowly away until he turns around to see his mom approaching him with a concerned look.

Mrs Midoriya with tears in her emerald eyes pulls her son into a bear hug.

Seeing this makes Denki's heart ache. Soon the car takes a turn left and the mother and son duo disappear from his sight.

Denki lets some of the fresh cold tears fall from his eyes.

Mr. Sansa takes notice of this but did not make mention of it.

After some time the car stops at the given address of Denki's apartment and Denki steps out of the car and bows towards the cat man as a form of gratitude and takes the lifts to his apartment floor.

Denki enters the quiet apartment and sees it dark at the entrance.

Denki moves into the entryway while his hand searches for the light switch and confusedly calls out,"Lizzy?".

Then, he hears the dreaded voice which he did not want to hear, "Lizzy is at a slumber party hehe".

Denki feels his blood run cold and something sharp is felt across his neck.

It's coldness making Denki wince in pain.

He realises what was happening but he was too late. He stumbles and falls on the floor with his back hitting the ground with a thud sound echoing in the quiet apartment building while the muscular person breathed heavily and straddled Denki's hips making him unable to move.

Then, there was a burst of sharp pain which ran across his neck.
