The time traveler gives the wonder duo a nervous smile as he steps out from the bushes and Bakougou Katsuki huffs and under his breath mutters, "It figures".

Bakugou stomps his feet and starts walking away while bumping lightly into Denki's shoulder.

Midoriya tries to reach out his hand to stop Bakugou. But Denki beats Midoriya to it and gently holds onto Bakugou's hand which makes him stop in his footsteps.

The sandy blonde haired boy tries his best to give an angriest scary look to Denki but stops when he sees Denki grinning at him with twinkling eyes and say, "Sexually repressed feelings eh Bakugou-kun?".

Midoriya looks at Denki with a shock expression and Bakugou has a look of confusion then that look turns to realisation and he lets out mini explosions from his palms and screams his name, "KAMINARI!".

Denki ignores the angry boy and walks up to Midoriya. Denki could now clearly see the bruise forming on Midoriya's right side of his cheek from Bakugou's punch earlier.

Midoriya goes rigid under Denki's stare and becomes tense, when Denki pats his shoulder and gives him his signature cute smile and speaks to him in his soft gentle voice as if he is speaking to a small child, "Why are you always doubting yourself you are not that Deku any more right? . You are DEKIRU the one who can do it right now".

Hearing these words coming from Denki's mouth makes Izuku feel tears pricking in the corners of his eyes but somehow he manages to control himself from crying.

This was the first time someone other than All Might and Uaraka Ochako who accepted him whole heartedly. Izuku wanted to open his mouth to reply to Denki's encouraging words but if he did open his open mouth he would probably end up crying. The best he could do right now is to give a smile and nod his head while he tried to control a whirl of emotions in his heart.

Midoriya shyly nods his head and gives a small smile to Denki.

Soon, Izuku feels all the nervousness and tension leaving his body when he hears Denki's words of encouragement.

Denki had voiced his words deliberately in a loud tone on purpose so that Bakugou Katsuki could hear it and indeed Bakugou has heard it .

Katsuki grits his teeth and immediately grabs the said boy by spinning him around to face him.

At the sudden movement, Denki feels a wave of dizzy hit him but does not  let it show on his face while he stares impassively at Bakugou, who minced his words while asking him why he was doing this on purpose.

'Finally you caught on'.

Denki simply smiles and says, "I want you two to work together as a team and I have my full faith in you both" and flicks Bakugou on the forehead.

Bakugou Katsuki stares with shock evident on his face at Denki's gesture and thinks to himself how can someone have so much confidence in him and Deku.

They were facing Fucking All Might the world's strongest Hero but someone had the faith in them that they would pass the exercise test. Bakugou for some odd reason did not want to disappoint his sunshine now. 

Bakugou's hair covers his face and a small smile could be seen tugging at the corner of mouth while Midoriya Izuku lets out a soft gasp at his friend's unexpected behavior.  Both the boys are brought out from their musings when Kaminari's name is announced on the speaker, asking the blonde haired boy to arrive at his given exam gate in 10 minutes.

Hearing his name being called, Denki tugs his wrist out of Bakugou's hold and starts running towards the exit of the gate while his red hooded cape and bow tails flutter with the wind.

Denki does not turn back to stare at the wonder duo.

After Denki disappears from their sight. Bakugou Katsuki lets out a snort and says with a soft smile forming on his face, "He is  llike a shot of espresso, he is like bathed in sunlight".

Midoriya giggles at the new found look of Bakugou and says, "Kaachan um your right.. he is like the sun present even during the darkest hour of the day".

Denki was huffing while running. He was nearly out of the gates now moving hurriedly towards the waiting bus only to be pulled by his arm and is spun around.

This sudden action by the unknown person makes Denki feel dizzy.
