The next day, Denki takes the last minute train bound for UA High as he wanted to avoid getting swarmed by the mass media reporters and his nerves could not deal with overcrowding today.

Kaminari reaches the UA gates and sees the media vans and cars standing at a distance and the reporters were grumbling and talking to their superiors on the phone while smoking cigars and on the other side some reporters were brewing conspiracies about All Might. This  scene was hilarious for Kaminari to watch.

Cementos who was stationed near the UA gate beckons Denki to hurry up and reluctantly Denki hurries through the gates into the main building of school.

As usual Aizawa Souta conducts the home room class by firstly saying he has gone through yesterday's footage of their heroic course and scores and scolds Bakougou Katsuki for acting like a seven year old brat then Aizawa sensei's wrath moves on too Izuku Midoriya ands asks him to get used to his adjusting quirk and wants to see some sweat out of Midoriya and lastly Aizawa's gaze falls on Kaminari Denki with a flash of concern passing by in Aizawa sensei's eyes.

Denki eeks and thinks, "Did Sensei notice his little episode in the recorded footage?".

But to Denki's utter astonishment, Aizawa sensei praises him for using his quirk efficiently while keeping the surrounding area in mind. And asks others to take some inspiration from him.

At this his classmates applaud him. Then Aizawa Shouta brings back his students to the main point of the Homeroom announcement.

Hearing this everyone dreads what it's going to be.

Aizawa Shouta asks them to select both Class president and vice president for their class while pulling on the caterpillar bag and asks his students not to wake him up until it is decided by whatever means they were going to use to decide the position. With that Aizawa goes to sleep.

Hearing this everyone throws their hands int the air and says, "Finally something normal like a high school".

Then they all start raising their hands in the air and start saying vote for me no for me.

Kaminari Denki looks around at his classmates excited faces while Jirou Kyouka who sits beside him asks Kaminari with a surprise tone, "Are you not going to stand for the class president position Kaminari san?".

Now the class goes quiet and listens to their conversation and Denki after some thought says, "Nah I don't have the leadership qualities in me so I am not going to stand in for the class president post but if you all want this to be conducted fairly then I guess I have no choice but to participate in the voting".

At this suggestion Iida Tenya agrees with him.

A few moments later.

Votes are counted with Kaminari Denki getting the highest votes with a total 10 in number and Yaoyorozu Momo with 3 votes.

Kaminari Denki was not really ready to take up this class president position as the position originally belonged to Iida Tenya and he was adamant to give back that position back to Iida.

Before the lunch bell could ring in the last 15 minutes.

Kaminari reluctantly declines the position while Yaoyorozu Momo looks at him surprised.

While his classmates try to convince him to take up the position and Iida Tenya says, "I have seen how well with clear mind you have performed in the heroic course yesterday and you do certainly have the qualities of a leader no doubt". At this his classmates nod along with Iida's statement.

This was getting out of hand now so Kaminari Denki decides to step up and say, "Yes I know you all have voted for me fair and square but I have to decline this post and I have full faith in you, Iida Tenya as you seem to have those innate qualities already in you".  With that Denki ends his conviction speech and the bell rings at the same time.

Kaminari quietly and nonchalantly walks out of the classroom while his classmates stare at him silently and then turn towards Aizawa sensei for some advice. Who was listening to everything quietly the whole time  standing in the corner of the room.

Aizawa sighs at the sudden outcome of the situation and tiredly says, "It's in your lot hands to decide now, since he has mentioned the candidate's name, who he wants to see as the Class President of this class" and with that Aizawa too walks out of the classroom.

Kaminari decides to ditch the cafeteria heads to check out UA high's grand library.

He had heard from Estella that UA has a massive library filled with books from floor to ceiling and the aisle of books were never ending oh what a delight for a book reader!.

Since Kaminari Denki was getting good grades. He wanted to keep that rank up now.

Previously he was not a studious person but now he did not want to disappoint his teachers with a bad grade as they already have such high hopes from him.

Denki walks around the various aisles of books and takes  in the scent of the books that's when his eyes fall on a children's literature book with a beautiful illustration of teddy bears on it and he picks it up from the selves  and finds the comfiest lounge area with hanging lamps from the ceiling and sits down to read the book and puts one airpod in his ear to listen to some music as well while he reads the cutest illustration book on which he laid his eyes on.

He hits "play" on his music app. And it seems like the song list has been shuffled as a random song called Happy Hare by Yaelokre begins to play.

Denki knew this song was based on a lore but its lyrics sounded  eerily to Denki's ear, "Happy Hare Where Have You Buried Your Children ? Tell Me So I say...She Can't Keep Them All Caged They Will Be Far And Fly Away".

Reading a children's book and listening to this song felt like an odd combination, when Denki's phone glitched and the song stopped playing.

Denki thinks to himself, 'That's odd why it turned off by itself ..well there must be a glitch in the app'.

Denki turns off his phone and puts it back in his waistcoat that's when the shrilling sound of security siren goes off.

And commotion could be heard coming from the hallway, with a dreaded feeling Denki gets up and heads out to check what's going on but instead he himself gets pulled in the student's stampede.

In the frantic frenzy, Denki's glasses get knocked out from his face and Denki winces when he hears them getting crashed in the stampede.

Iida Tenya's voice  could be heard among the sea of the crowd of students, asking them to calm down. But soon his voice is lost in the sea of the students.

In the midst of the push and pull of the students. Kaminari Denki' s eyes spots the black hooded figure standing in the centre of the chaos grinning at him like a cheshire cat.
