After the most insanely tough battle, Midoriya gets healed by Recovery Girl.
All Might praises Midoriya at the infirmary and asks him to watch the rest of the tournament matches with his friends to which Midoriya obliges.

Izuku walks back to the stands to watch the next matches with his friends, while he walks through the corridor - one thing keeps replying in his mind and that was Kaminari Denki's voice.

He did not know how to describe it, as Kaminari's voice was mixed with different emotions. If he had to really use one word to describe it sounded painful to Izuku's ears.

Izuku frowned at the thought because a sad Kaminari did not suit his image and he did not like Kaminari looking hurt.

Izuku was starting to feel this unknown type of feelings in his chest like he needed to protect Kaminari from the evil people in the world and oddly his quirk was resonating whenever Kaminari was around him like a kind of familiarity, which Midoriya needed to speak about to All Might later on.

He goes to the stands and stops next to Uaraka Ochako and stares at Kaminari, who was quietly scrolling through his phone with a disinterested face.

Mineta Minrou notices Midoriya throwing little glances at Kaminari and whispers  to Izuku Midoriya, "He has been like that since you have been in the infirmary".

Midoriya can only utter, "Eh" . Izuku did not know what he did to Kaminari to make him give the cold shoulder and sits heavily beside Uraraka Ochako and watches the other course students matches.

Uraraka, Mineta, Kirishima and Midoriya sweatdrop when they see Bakugou Katsuki using a barrage of explosions on poor Dark Shadow to bring him out of the bounds soon their attention is diverted to the soft singing voice of Kaminari, "Even Knowing I'll never be a goddess. I live on. The Cruel Angel's Thesis. Will soon take flight through the window with surging, hot pathos. If you betray your memories. Embracing this sky & shining. Young boy, become the legend".

The Whole class turns to stare at Denki, who was unaware  with close eyes and snapping his fingers while bopping his head along with the music playing in his headphones and his classmates think,  'He is really out of this world'.

Denki was feeling pumped by listening to 'A Cruel Angel Thesis Cover by Rosalia'. The song was intense, dark and electrifying and his mood now felt instantaneously better than before.

After some time Midnight Sensei announces the top 4 contenders of the final around.

Soon Kaminari Denki and Bakugou Katsuki are called in for the battle tournament.

Denki gulps he did not make a proper strategy to fight against Bakougou Katsuki as Denki had no idea that he, himself would come this far.

Bakugou immediately goes into attack mode. He concentrates his blasts on the ground and creates a dust smoke screen.

Denki bent his elbow to cover his nose and coughs into the sleeves of his cardigan and thinks to himself, 'He is too fast for some unknown reason'.

Then Denki's eyes go wide, when he hears a cool voice behind him say, "Aren't you gonna throw your cardigan away like Kirby did as a decoy?".

Denki curses under his breath, "Shit".
When did Bakugou Katsuki sneak up behind him? Without Denki noticing his movement. 

Denki does a back flip to keep some distance between him and Bakougou Katsuki.

Denki was clearly at a disadvantage now and he could not use his quirk properly at the moment as it was too taxing on his little body and instead used his retractable rod to swing on Bakougou Katsuki but sadly Bakougou pulled the rod towards him, bringing Denki along with the rod towards Bakugou.

Denki yelps and tries to pull away by changing the trajectory of his attack but Bakougou beats him to it. By pushing his face on the ground and twisting his left wrist behind his back.

Denki lets out an agonised scream and closes his eyes, as it was his already swollen wrist getting crushed by Bakougou's tight grip.

Upon hearing Denki's agonised scream, Bakugou red eyes narrow and move down to Denki's slender wrist and to his utter horror he sees the swollen wrist as well as the lictenberg scars running down his elbow to where God knows underneath the cardigan.

Katsuki got a glimpse of those ugly purplish scars when the cardigan sleeves slightly slid down to Kaminari's elbow and thought to himself, 'Damn sunshine, what did you do to yourself'.

But soon he had to move away from Denki. As Denki in agony and pain used star burst electric balls to burst around Bakougou causing him to move away from Kaminari.

The air was crackling with static energy now and Denki was at his limit as the last move which he used required a lot of mental energy and his mouth was dripping with blood and his  lichenberg scars were burning horrendously and he stumbles and lets  the darkness take him away for a while and  blackouts.

Bakougou Katsuki with shocked expression stood there seeing the medic bots taking away Kaminari Denki on the stretcher to the infirmary while Midnight sensei announces him the winner of this match and the crowds cheers as Bakougou Katsuki now advances to the final stage of the tournament.
