Denki and his classmates stand in a huge hall dressed in their hero costumes with thousands of other  candidates.

Denki pulls on his red hooded cape over his head  when he feels two boys from some ninja hero  school looking at him in a perverted way.

Soon Yokumiru Mera, The Hero Safety Commission Officer explains to them the procedure of the exam.

The first phase of the exam will focus on their speed which is considered an important part of heroism.

Denki listens to this all  half heartedly. As he already knew what he was supposed to do. Soon there is a buzzer sound heard going off and the walls of the hall opening up from all sides and revealing that they are already inside the Takoba National Stadium, the buzzer sound is heard again now the other school candidates start moving hurriedly around to increase their chances of being selected in the preliminary phase.

Meanwhile Denki's friends contemplate whether they should move individually or stick together as a group.

Midoriya immediately takes up the leadership position and says, "We all should stick together and work together as a group as we don't know what the other students quirks are".

Half of his classmates agree with nodding faces.

Denki catches Bakugou Katsuki, Kirishima Erijiou and Torodoki Shoto walking away from the group.

Midoriya tries to stop Torodoki but the boy refuses and says that he wants to do it alone. On the other hand Denki runs behind Bakugou Katsuki and Kirishima Erijiou happily.

But Bakugou hears his wing boots clicking on the ground. Bakugou all of a sudden turns around and without  a word half heartedly in an aggressive way pushes Denki away onto Midoriya.

While not making eye contact with Denki and says fiercely, "Hell Nah".

Denki eeks at the sudden aggressive behaviour displayed by Bakugou but stumbles backwards.

Luckily Katsuki did not push Denki without thinking. He knew deku would catch the fragile boy. And it came true Deku caught Denki from behind preventing him falling while saying his name, "Kacchan!".

Bakugou Katsuki turns around and starts walking slowly and grits his teeth in anger and says his next words carefully so Deku could hear him loud and clearly, "I can't have a fragile glass doll slowing me down".

Bakugou makes a hmph sound  loudly while Kirishima Erijiou looks  back at Denki with a sympathetic look and mouths sorry, "Kaminari-kun".

Denki immediately felt hurt by Bakugou's tone. Denki could feel Midoriya's hands shaking in anger but luckily Midoriya could not see Denki's hurt expression. After how much he has done for them. He is still being treated as weak. How pathetic of him . But he won't give up. He will keep on moving forward.

Denki could hear some of classmates badmouthing Bakugou and he sighs .
Izuku was shocked at Kacchan's behaviour that caused the boy to behave in such an aggressive way against Kaminari-kun? .

Izuku clearly knew that Kaminari was neither in Dekusquad nor Bakusquad. He just gravitated  where he felt safe the most.

Midoriya feels Denki moving away from his hands and sees the golden haired boy's shoulders shaking slightly.

'Don't tell me Kacchan's words affected him too badly'.

"Um Kaminari-ku" says Midoriya only to stop when the boy carefully turns around and gives his friends a bright fake cheerful smile and says loudly while raising his fist in the air, "Lets do our best everyone!".

Midoriya and the rest of his classmates eyes go wide at Denki's fake behaviour .

At the moment, the Denki's wing cuff sensor detects four or three people approaching them at a crazy speed.

Denki on instinct kicks Midoriya on the back of his knees which makes Midoriya knees to buckle and he falls down with a surprised face on the ground with a thud sound.

While Uraraka Ochako kneels down in worry to check on her fallen friend, "Deku-Kun!".

"Everyone! Protect yourself they are here!" yells Denki.

More than 20 candidates jump at his classmates with the purpose to defeat them in the first round since they were all quite aware of their quirks due to the UA sports festival event being broadcasted worldwide.

Denki uses his electrical energy to create a static shield around him, Midoriya and Uraraka.

Midoriya gets up and rubs his bruised chin from the fall and runs forward out of the shield. Denki makes sure to lower the energy around the barrier before Midoriya can get hurt.

Midoriya jumps into the air and uses his shoot style technique to create shock waves to send the flying balls back to their opponents.

Midoriya moves head on with Shindo Yo who narrowly avoids his greenette friend from getting hit with the ball.

Denki could clearly see an angry irritated mark appearing on Shindo's masked happy face. Denki looks back to see the rest of the classmates handling the situation better than he expected.

Oh no he should not have been too happy.

Shindo Yo had just used his quirk to create a big vibration, shock waves which  were sent to his group.

The ground rips open like a beast mouth in hunger.

Before Denki could get any time to think or react. He is swallowed down by the ground with stone debris falling over him.

He felt a cold air sucking him into a portal.

'A teleportation portal?' were Denki's last thoughts.

Somewhere inside the stadium.

Kirishima Erijiou had to hold on to a street lamp pole at the intensity the ground was vibrating.

"Whoa what was that! an explosion?. I hope Kaminari-kun, Midoriya and the rest of the class are doing fine". Says Kirishima Erijiou as he could see smoke rising in the distance and turns to look at his ash blonde friend walking ahead of him in a haughty stride.

Kirishima Erijiou then takes this opportunity to confront Bakugou about his behaviour earlier with Kaminari, "Hey man what you did with Kaminari-kun was not so manly. The guy literally was heartbroken when you spoke to him in that tone".

Bakugou Katsuki turns around to stare Kirishima Erijiou dead in the eye and as he says his next words in a menacing tone, "It's better if he stays with deku and his team. He has been fainting a lot. And that's not a good sign".

With that Bakugou Katsuki turns around and starts walking while looking out for preys to hunt them down.

The preys are actually the candidates here.

Kirishima Erijiou stares baffled at Bakugou's words and mutters to himself, "You really care for him don't you". With that Kirishima runs up behind Bakugou to keep up with his stride.
