With a sleepless night and getting only two hours of sleep, Denki is awoken up by his Aunt Kiko's cheery voice saying, "Wake up and smell the coffee".

Denki grumbles and trudges out of bed and gets ready for the UA sports festival and to his horror he does not have any single black turtleneck left to hide his lictenberg scars as all his clothes were in the laundry basket which were in the dire need of washing.

Grudgingly Denki buttons up his sports uniform collar and uses concealer to hide the little peeking scars and puts on a black cardigan with loose sleeves so that they don't stick to his scars and the sleeves on each side have little bows. Lastly he remembers to bandage his left wrist which was still swollen from yesterday's incident.

After that Denki heads downstairs to have breakfast and while Denki nimbles on his buttered toast his Aunt Kiko fusses over his weight and asks him to have a fruit cup as well.

But Kaminari was already running late so he left the half eaten toast on the plate,when his Aunt was not looking and dashed out of the front door.

Denki luckily manages to catch the train, he holds on to the train handle while his wrist throbs in pain and with yesterday's memory still fresh in mind.

Denki really needed a distraction. He needed to listen to some hardcore music. So he puts on his headphones and hits play on "Say Goodbye" by Micah Ariss and starts vibing along with the lyrics of the song " I'm stuck in this hell I can't decide. To let you stay or to say goodbye. Every night and every day. I take damage from you and pretend it's okay. I don't want to fight but I can't take anymore. Before I break".

Denki had to go through a security system three times before he was allowed inside the UA campus. He could already see the food stalls being set up and people heading towards the stadium to take their seats before the match and he also spots some famous pro heroes patrolling on the campus like Mt Lady and Kamui Woods etc.

Before going to the waiting room, Denki walks to the sports committee office and fills the form for using support items in the tournament.

They were allowed only two. So he lists down his retractable rod and his thigh high wing boots. He wanted to use his vine whip too but it was too destructive and he did want to skin any poor soul today so he decides against using  it.

Then getting the confirmation for using his support items. Denki walks to the waiting room and stands outside takes a deep breath and thinks, 'That's odd there is no sound coming from inside. Am I at the wrong door?'. But still twists on the knob and opens  the door to see Torodoki facing Midoriya with a steely expression while his classmates stare at the two in  pin drop silence and intense atmosphere surrounding the two. Denki gulped.

Denki so badly wanted to close the door and walk out from there. In no time the intense atmosphere changed to a cheery one . When Ashido Mina takes notice of him and exclaims his name, "Kaminari kun!".

Now everyone's attention turns towards Kaminari who immediately places his hands behind his back to avoid the scars and bandage from being noticed by his friends and says with a cute smile, "Are you all excited for the sports tournament?. Well I am".

Soon his friends circle around him and  start questioning, " Is he okay enough to participate or is he still in pain?".

Denki replies with a reassuring smile to his friends that he is fine and perfectly well enough to participate.

His classmates take a sigh of relief.

Denki catches Bakugou and Midoriya staring at him. Denki makes sure that  the sleeve goes down to his hand is fully covered and raises it slightly and waves cutely at them, while he does this, the little bows at the edge of the cardigan sleeve flutter along with his hand moment.

The whole class thinks, 'He is going to be the death of us all'.
