This time I will protect them I won't be a coward

Denki reaches home and unlocks the front door and his nostrils are hit with the yummy scent of banana cupcakes wafting in the air from the kitchen and Kaminari walks into the house and says, "I am home, Liz!".

Kaminari turns around to shut the door. He hears Lizzy say, "here".

Then Kaminari goes to check the living room and upon seeing it empty and then Denki  goes  to check in the kitchen where the banana cupcakes is being baked inside the oven and sees the kitchen is empty as well.

Then Denki walks out of the kitchen and stands at the landing of stairs and says, "Lane?".

Then Lizzy replies back, "Here Rory".

Finally Denki gets the sign that Lizzy is in her bedroom and says, "Coming Lane".

Denki enters Lizzy's room and says, "Hey"  and sits down on the settee and sets his backpack beside him.

And looks at Lizzy with mild interest, who was checking out her blue gown  in the full length mirror for their tea party.

She turns towards Denki with sparkles in her eyes and says, "Hey you! So how was your first day?.

Denki replies, "Good".

Lizzy looks at him confusedly, "Only good?".

Kaminari replies back to the question with a tired tone, "I will tell you all about it while having tea, sandwiches and pastries and I am very hungry at the moment.

This sets Lizzy on fire. She puts both her hands on her hips and says, "Should have told so earlier not so cool Mr. hotshot"

Kaminari brings up both his hands in the form of a defeat and says, "Sorry sorry I should not have said that, a lot has happened in one day".

Lizzy stares quietly at Denki and thinks, 'He looks so tired and pale. I should not have spoken to him in that tone' and said, "We are having a tea party in the sunroom and be downstairs in five minutes. While I set things up".

With that Lizzy walks out of her room and Denki sighs and stares at the ceiling for a while then goes downstairs.

The tea was heated at the right amount of temperature and the cucumber sandwiches  tasted so good after a long exhausting day.

Kaminari sighs contentedly  sipping his tea and stuffing his mouth with  strawberry shortcake while Lizzy looks keenly at him and asks, "So how was your first day of UA high school and how are the teachers there? I bet all of them are pro heroes".

Denki stops eating and replies, "Yeah all of my classmates are friendly and nice and as for teachers All Might is also a teacher there".

Hearing this Lizzy spits out the tea which she was sipping and stutters, "W-w- WHAT!?. All Might is teaching at UA high!?.

Denki nods at Lizzy's question and goes back to sipping his not so hot tea.

After a pause Lizzy asks Denki, "Did you ask All Might for his autograph?".

To this Denki replies with one word, "Nope".

Lizzy gives Denki a shocked look and says cautiously watching her tone, "So after all this time your favourite pro hero is your mom.

Hearing his mom being mentioned in the conversation, Denki gives Lizzy a soft smile and whispers, "Yes" with sadness reflecting in his eyes.

After the tea party, Denki heads upstairs and changes into his stripped pjs and grabs a children's literature read from his bookshelf and goes to sit in his cozy reading nook couch.

The book which he had picked was called The Curse of the Cheese Pyramid by Geronimo Stilton.

Halfway through the book, Denki could feel his eyelids getting heavy soon he is consumed by sleep and his book falls into his lap.
