During his hospital stay, Denki was everyday visited by either Torodoki Shoto or Iida Tenya during their internship breaks to keep him company which Denki really appreciated.

Meanwhile Izuku Midoriya sent him a sorry message as he could not visit Denki because of Gran Torino's hero agency being located a good distance away from the hospital.

With the forehead kiss memory being still fresh in his mind. Denki had sent a smiley emoji to Midoriya's apology message and hit the turn off power button of his phone and screamed into his hospital bed pillow. Luckily he was in a private room.

During the last day of the internship, Denki got discharged from the hospital after the doctor confirmed his vitals were ok and the next day was back to school for Denki.

Next Day

Denki stood among the crowd for the train, waiting for the train to arrive at the platform.

It seemed like all the trains were running late. Denki sighs and thinks back to how this whole week has been so stressful for him, since the day he started an internship to his encounter with Stain.

Denki felt someone staring at him.

Denki looks up from his phone to stare at the other side of the platform, only to catch two pairs of beautiful turquoise eyes  staring right back at him into his soul.

Denki feels his body freezing from the intense stare.

The face of the said person was covered by a black hoodie and a black mask, only the eyes were visible and  Denki could also see the metal ear cuff glistening in the station's neon lights.

Denki squints his eyes at the mysterious figure and to his horror to realise who it was.

'Touya Torodoki!'.

Denki moves his hand to cover his mouth and blinks his eyes, willing the image in front of him to disappear.

Denki did not have any idea, if he was seeing a real person or an illusion.
Or that his mind was playing tricks with him.

Since the Hosu's incident, Denki started seeing mysterious shadow figures  looming around Izuku Midoriya but kept quiet about it.

Denki did not know what type of Looney tunes shit the doctors have prescribed with his depression meds.

Now his world was spiraling out of control. He needed to do something.

Suddenly a shadow creature pulls Denki into a hug, while the metro swoohes past him.

Denki starts hyperventilating as he could see the hooded figure AKA Dabi on the other side of the platform disappearing with the walking crowd while the dark creature who turned out to be a Dark Shadow pats him on the head and looks at him concernedly and croons his name softly.

Denki feels his heartbeat quicken and he starts breathing heavily and tries to control his breathing. When he feels something cold touching his cheek.

Denki looks to the side to meet the red eyes of Fukimage Tokoyami who looked at him with a worried expression and a bottle of cold water was pressed against his cheek.

Denki grabs the cold water bottle from Tokoyami's hands and unscrews the cap of the bottle and takes a few sip of water from it. While Tokoyami looks at him with the same expression he had earlier on and says,
"You have a dark cloud over your head".

To this Denki gives a nervous laugh and says, "Do I?".

Tokoyami nods his head and says his next words very carefully while keeping a keen eye on Kaminari's facial expressions and body language, "I am here for you. If  anything is bothering you can tell me and that's what friends are for right?".

Denki replies quietly with sad eyes, "Yes".

Both the boys board the train bound for UA high.

And just like that, till reaching UA high. Dark Shadow held onto Denki in a hug form and let Denki go only when they had safely entered the UA campus.
