Luci yawned and was almost asleep when she heard a knock at her hospital door. She opened her eyes groggily and saw the door opened by the science teacher and sponsor of the musical theater club , Lyle Anderson who walked into the room followed by not only the entire musical theater club including Theodore , Richie , Sol , Alan in his chair and Lewis but also Reese Malden in his usual black tee shirt , designer jeans and canvas shoes.
She laughed and sat up gingerly. " What are you doing here ? You're all supposed to be in school now ! Oh my God ! "
Lyle smiled shyly as he shrugged at her. " Dr. HighTower let us take an impromptu field trip to the hospital and therefore to you. We just wanted to say that we miss you and we all love you and we hope you come back to school very soon ! "
Reese smiled as well , saying , " We also want to say....... "
Then he and Lyle jointly stepped aside and faced the assorted students , lifting their hands at them and nodding.
Theodore ( stepping forward and doing a little delicate tap and shuffle move as he began to sing): It's a good day ! It's a good sunny day ! Because I can see your smiling face. When we're together all the rain is washed away. You're my sunny good day , Luci With A I Not A Y.
Sol ( stepping over to her bedside holding a single rose in his hands ) : You're my smile when I feel down. My sunny good day when it's raining.
The other students ( gathering around her bed ) : It's a good sunny day ! Because we can see your smiling face. You're our sunny good day.
Alan ( reaching out to hold her hand ) : When life gets tough I know it will get better. Because I see your smiling face. As it rains we'll still laugh and smile and watch Doctor Who.
The other students : It's a good sunny day ! Because we can see your smiling face. You're our sunny day.
Lyle and Reese : It's a good sunny day. Because we can see your smiling face. You're our sunny day.
Luci blinked back sudden tears as she clutched onto Alan and Sol's hands. She didn't know what to say. Luci Moore was actually speechless.
Reese laughed and leaned over to whisper in her ear , " You are also our Juliet. I know my niece Willow is your understudy but she barely knows her lines so I'm going to need you to get back soon. After all , the show does always go on , my dear Miss Moore. "
Luci bubbled over with laughter. " Sure , Mr. M. , sure. "
