Dom Gaines : My people are still working on your political matter but they've come up with some very interesting information so far on the Van Owen family.
- Attached pic of Buckley Van Owen's wife A.R. walking arm in arm with US Senator Gregory Jacobs as they steal a kiss from each other -
- Attached pic of Buckley Van Owen Jr. at his apartment door kissing a young African American man whose face was shielded from the camera -
Winston Arnett : Very interesting indeed. Thanks for the information, Dom. Keep up the good work.
Winston sat back on the sofa with a pensive expression on his face, his fingers reaching up to touch his puckered red scar , his eyes glued to the pictures.
What did he do with the information? This could be explosive...... but the man the opponent's wife was kissing was Joe's father. They didn't have the best father - son relationship but he didn't believe Joe wanted his father embarrassed in front of the world. Of course, the elderly man was in his seventies and long widowed , he mused to himself , as he continued to look at the pictures steadily while pondering his next step. An affair with a younger woman, even a married younger woman would not truly hurt the man. Much. It would be worse for A.R. herself.
A.R. , who was a judge in her own right.
A conservative family values judge.
The judge who according to Spencer had removed Lewis from the custody of Richard and Tania.
The one picture that affected him the most was of the young man. B.J. Van Owen. He was so young. And , from the media accounts was straight. Although , from the pictures he saw on his phone, that was not at all true. B.J. was apparently deeply in the closet.
Winston remembered another closeted young man so many years ago. Another one with a demanding and forever disapproving politician father who had demeaned who he had been even before he had came out of the closet.
That boy had once been himself. Could he reveal this to the public and hurt the young man who could be himself years ago?
He sighed. He just didn't know. He wanted Spencer to win office. And, he wanted people to regard himself as a winner at something instead of " Useless Winnie".
Maybe he would let Spencer decide. It was his race after all.
