" So , Father and Ariel are off on their honeymoon," Alexi said casually as he delicately cut into his grapefruit. " Some little place called Foggy - On - The - Wall or something. "

Scott laughed as he sat beside his lover and then he dug into his plate of scrambled eggs with cheese and bacon. " Interesting name. "

Alan looked up from the short story he had just finished on his laptop and emailed to Theodore. " I thought it was something different. Mom told Jeff and me the name. It didn't sound like that though. "

Matilda remained silent as did Maxim and Natasha who all were ignoring  breakfast in favor of their own particular thoughts.

Prince Cedric laughed. " I believe that Alexi is a little mistaken. Nicholas and Ariel are honeymooning in Eldermere. A small village called Thistle - On - The - Wind. A very charming village actually. My family has a summer cottage there. We call it Evervalley. I very much enjoy it. It is a very friendly place. Isn't it, Nanny ?  "

Nanny smiled softly at him. " I will agree it is, churl. I should know. I was born there and, no , I shall not reveal the exact year. " She laughed heartily with Matilda and Natasha turning up their noses at her" crudeness ". " I think Mrs. Kendall..... I mean Mrs. Volkouva will enjoy it. I believe they are roughing it , aren't they, dear Cedric? No servants. "

Cedric laughed again. " Perish the thought. I can't possibly imagine my godfather doing the cooking and washing up in a five bedroom cottage. "

Alan was wondering if it was a mistake letting his boyfriend read exactly what he had been writing.  What if Theodore didn't like it especially since their relationship was a central point in the story ? He had even dedicated it to Theodore....... He had put his whole self into that story...... What if Theodore found it .... not good enough? " Mom can cook and clean. When we were at home we never had servants. A housekeeper yes but not maids and cooks and a butler. I think Mom can handle it. "

" Alexi certainly couldn't," Scott said with a cheery laugh and wink at Alexi who made a face at him before laughing in agreement.

Alexi wagged a finger in the man's face. " You do know me well. "

Scott caught the finger in mid waggle and pressed a soft kiss to it. " I do indeed. And, don't you forget it. "

Maxim cut his eyes at his blushing older brother and his brother's partner. Then he glanced at his estranged wife who refused to leave the house. " They'll be there two weeks. I will be doing a little traveling myself. Natasha and myself. The pilot will on Friday fly us both to Mexico for a divorce. Then upon returning my future ex wife here will be moving out. " His green eyes chilled as they stayed on her equally cold face. " Without my children. "

Natasha said," I will go nowhere without my children. "

Alexi rolled his eyes. " Such a shame when love grows cold. I hope Father and Ariel have better luck. Isn't that right, Matilda, dear ? "

Matilda dropped her fork onto her plate with a loud bang. " I do believe I am finished my meal. I think I will retire to my bedroom. "

Alexi smiled. " You should start packing as well. Father wanted me to inform you that he and my new stepmother have hired you a proper live in  nurse so you can continue your bedrest , your alleged bedrest , at your own home. You and your awful son Race Jr. I believe she will start on Friday. Isn't that just lovely? " His smile grew with triumphant glee.
