She is with child at the moment. I know she looks old but it is true. " Then she looked back at Matilda's outraged beautiful face with a satisfied smile. " Nicholas wants to be fair. To you and your sister. He has a nurse arranged to stay with you twenty four seven at YOUR home starting tomorrow. And , that is where you will be from now on. Your home. Not our home. I have spoken to Alexi and he is in agreement with me on this. Your freeloading days are over, Matilda. At least at the house that is. Scandal may have hit the campaign of Republican family values lobbyist and lawyer Buckley Van Owen Sr. as reports hit the Washington Reign of a secret May / December relationship between his wife Judge A.R. Van Owen and Senator Gregory Jacobs. We are still awaiting a statement from the Van Owen campaign as well his direct opponent Dr. Spencer Norland - Lane but the other Democratic opponent Dodie Angeletti decried Van Owen for his hypocritical stance on family values while his wife carried on an illicit affair. Reverend Lazarus Jones, the independent candidate for mayor, also decried the revelation, stating that it was unfortunately not difficult to believe of people like the Van Owens.
Lazarus Jones ( seated on a lushly pillowed pew in his grand mega church in Landover) : As a man of God I do pray for the souls of this poor tormented sinful couple Buckley and A.R. Van Owen. However it is not surprising. People such as them are not at all familiar with the very concept of family loyalty. Or loyalty to anything for that matter. Of course do we really want someone with lackluster values and moral fiber running this city? I think not ! Remember to vote for the Right One, Not The White One !
