As Andrew pulled an angry Richard off of Winston who just stood back up slowly with his hand on his reddened face.

Winston sighed deeply. " I deserve that. I know that. You remember me. Everything I did to you. Rebecca and the paternity switch. The affair with Sarah. I'm sorry. I really am. You don't have to believe me but I am telling you the truth. "

Richard shook his head. " You can not have my son. " His voice trembled visibly. " I know I'm an awful father but I love my children. Please don't take my son. "

Winston said quietly," Hey , in several months I'll have a baby of my own. With Joe, Faith and Joy. I won't have time for a teenage boy. I don't want to raise a teenage boy. " He laughed slightly. " I remember being one. I was hideous. No wonder my father and Uncle Bernard hate me. I don't want your son but I do want to help him. I'm here to do testing to see if I'm a match. And , do a DNA test. I don't completely trust Tania. " He then laughed self consciously. " This time I'll try not to bribe anyone in the lab. "

Richard and Andrew looked at the man in amazed wonder for a second before they joined him in laughter. A laughter built from pent up tension and worry more than mirth.

Richard reluctantly patted Winston on the shoulder. " Ok. Let's go save my son. " He swallowed hard. " Our son. "

Nigel sat again beside a sleeping Lewis's bed , holding Tanisha on his lap. Her little brown hand reached up to touch his sequined rainbow eye patch as she said softly," Is 'Ichard ok ? He mad. He mad at me ? Or you ?"

Nigel hugged her firmly and kissed the top of her braided by Faith head. " No , Queen Tanisha, my love. Richard is upset but not with us. Never with me or you. "

Tanisha was quiet for a little bit before saying," He be ok. Don't worry, 'Igel. I love you. "

" I love you too , my love. "

" I changed my mind," Ariel said as she snuggled next to Nicholas in her bed.

Nicholas looked at her with questions on his face. " About what? "

" About our wedding day. I want to move it up. I want to get married tomorrow. "

Nicholas smiled widely. " Well , that's short notice but nothing I can't handle. Your wish is my pleasure. "

Ariel smiled softly as she rested her head on his hairy chest. Maybe once she was Mrs. Nicholas Volkouva she could stop thinking about Maxim. And , maybe she could convince him to move Matilda and her son out of the house back to her own place. Perhaps with a nurse to look after her during the pregnancy. Yes. That would be perfect.
