" Woah, Aerodactyl, Kabutops! Kabuto, Ombastar and Omnimite!"

" Life sized reconstructions." Gary added.

" All of these Great Prehistoric Pokemon once roamed the Earth! But now they only exist in the fossils that they left behind."

Behind them, Wisty and Eevee were examining the other displays.

" Look, Eve!" Wisty exclaimed as she picked her Pokemon. " It's you!"

" Eveve!"

Wisty nodded. " Yep. Says here this Pokemon bravely saved all the Pokemon when its trainer was only ten. Now its trainer is Twenty nine, with two childeren. One Ten and one Eight. And her daughter also has an Eevee. Wow, Eve. That's a nice backstory."

" Eveeveveveveveve!"

Wisty furrowed her brow. " Yes, it did come to me this sounds a lot like us, y'know? Like, this was mom."

" Eveveve!" Eevee pointed to a plaque, and Wisty read it.

" Blah blah blah.... science and reaserch... yada yade yada....... Delia Ketchum..... y- wait, DELIA KETCHUM?!"

Eevee's eyes widened. " Eevee?"

Wisty nodded. " Yep. It's my mother, all right."

She pulled out her phone and dialed her brother. " Hey, Ash?"

" Pika pi?"

Wisty sighed. " Pikachu, could you please give the phone to Ash?"

" Pika pi?"

" Because it's impossible to understand you over the phone."

Pikachu sighed, and she could hear some rustling.

" Yeah, Wist?"

" Ash, which part of Hoenn are you in?"

Ash remained silent. " Uh....."

Wisty groaned. " Don't tell me you got LOST!"

" Well, Pikachu's trying to decode it right now but......."

Wisty sighed. " Ash......"

" Anyway, where are you calling from?"

Wisty slapped her head. " Ash, I just called you two hours ago!"

" Oh. Oh yeah. You said something about going to a Clefairy lab. Make sure to catch a Clefairy for me!"

Wisty groaned. " The only thing I'm gonna catch is a case of anger."

" Oh? Is that a new disease? Make sure to stay safe, Wisty!"

Wisty just ended the call.

" Eveve?"

Wisty shot her Pokemon a look. " What do YOU think?"

Wisty sighed dramatically as she ended the call with Ash, her frustration bubbling beneath the surface. "If he gets lost again, I swear..." she mumbled, shaking her head. Eevee nuzzled against her leg, sensing her irritation.

Suddenly, Wisty's gaze fell on a massive mural of Aerodactyl. The colorful artwork depicted the prehistoric Pokémon soaring majestically through a bright blue sky, and Wisty's eyes lit up with excitement. "Whoa! Did you know that Aerodactyl is one of the first Pokémon ever to be resurrected from a fossil? It has a wingspan of over 18 feet and is believed to be based on a pterosaur! Isn't that cool?"

Gary, who had been casually flipping through his notes, glanced over in surprise. "Uh, yeah! How do you know that?"

Wisty continued, her enthusiasm rising as she paced in front of the mural. "And it's not just that! Aerodactyl was one of the top predators in its time, with sharp teeth and powerful wings. It could dive at speeds of over 90 miles per hour! That's like a high-speed jet!" She beamed, looking at Eevee, who seemed just as excited. "Imagine being able to fly that fast, Eve! We could explore so many places!"

Professor Oak, who had been quietly observing, raised an eyebrow in amazement. "You know quite a lot for someone your age, Wisty. Most kids don't retain this kind of information."

"Wisty's not just any kid," Gary added with a teasing smirk. "She's a walking encyclopedia of Pokémon facts."

Wisty grinned, puffing out her chest proudly. "It's all thanks to my mom! She used to tell me stories about Pokémon like Aerodactyl and the adventures they had. I guess I just remember them!"

"Your mom really knew her stuff," Professor Oak agreed, a hint of nostalgia in his voice. "Delia was an incredible trainer and researcher. It seems like she's inspired you just as much as she inspired Ash."

Wisty's eyes softened. "Yeah, I wish I could tell her all the things I've learned. I feel like I'm following in her footsteps." She paused, glancing back at the Aerodactyl display. "And you know what else? Aerodactyl was one of the first Pokémon to have the 'Rock' typing, making it super effective against Flying types! If only I could catch one!"

"Whoa!" Gary exclaimed. "You really do know a lot! But are you sure you're ready to take on a prehistoric Pokémon?"

Wisty smirked confidently. "Bring it on! I've got my trusty Eevee by my side! Right, Eve?"

"Eevee!" the Pokémon chirped enthusiastically, bouncing on its paws.

Just then, a loud crash echoed through the exhibit hall as a clumsy patron knocked over a display case, sending fossils clattering to the floor. Everyone jumped, turning their attention to the commotion.

"Looks like we might have a bit of excitement after all!" Gary quipped, trying to lighten the mood.

"Maybe we should stick to just looking at fossils for now," Wisty said, raising an eyebrow. "No more airborne adventures today, okay?"

"Agreed," Professor Oak chuckled. "Let's keep our feet on the ground and enjoy the wonders of prehistoric Pokémon!"
