Showdown at Poke Corral

" Just like every other living creature, they deserve our consideration and our respect. If we care for them the way we care for those we love, we'll be able to live in peace as we learn about them and ourselves. My research has taught me that we need to deal with Pokémon like we need to deal with people, as individuals, if we want to discover their mysteries."

" Is that why you decided to take care of so many Pokémon, Professor?"

"Yes, it is. And not only does every Pokémon I care for become part of my research, but they also become part of myself."

"A part of yourself?"

Suddenly, Pikachu turned and squeeled excitedly, then took off running.

A girl caught Pikachu and spun it around. " Pikachu! Oh, you look so cute as always! I missed you!"

" And me?" Ash piped up

The girl turned to Ash and, with Pikachu still on her shoulder, ran to her brother. " Of course I missed you!"

Ash ruffled her hair. " What have you been up to lately?"

" Togepi! Togepriii!"

Misty's Togepi jumped out of Misty's hands and went to the other Togepi. " Toge toge?"

" Toge Priii!"

Wisty nodded. " That's what I call getting along!"

" Chickerita!!"

Wisty turned to see Chickerita with her hooves on Wisty's legs. Wisty picked her up and let her sit on her head.

" Well you've been busy." Gary commented.

Wisty shrugged. " No, not really...."

" Not really?!" Oak interrupted, then turned to the group. " She caught a Galar Region Ponyta, a Vulpix, Chuckle, a-"

" That's enough, professor." Wisty said with a sweatdrop on her head. " Let's just say I caught a lot. And we don't need to go into dept into which ones I did."

" Chika?"

Wisty glanced up. " Yeah, you're right."

Then she whistled. " Everyone, outside! It's lunch time!"

All the Pokemon eagerly got out of their Pokeballs and ran outside.

Trampling Oak, Gary, Ash, Misty and Brock.

" Remind me never to stand too close to the Pokeballs when it's food time...." Ash groaned.

Gary nodded. " Make that double."
