Battling in the freezing Raid

" And Sheer Cold may be up next! Let's spread out!" Gary commanded.

"But if it's Blizzard, we're finished!" Goh argued. " Now gather behind Boldore!"

The Pokémon grunted as they ran to Goh's Pokemon.

Articuno screeched.

"Wait, is that Sheer Cold?" Goh exclaimed as he watched in confusion.

" NO!" someone in a black cloak yelled as they ran to the Pokemon and shielded them just as Articuno released the attack.

Blizzard hit the kid hard, and she gritted their teeth.

But she held their stance.

" Articuno!" She yelled. " It's me! Don't you remember? Please Articuno remember."

" Eevee!"

The girl looked at where her Pokemon was pointing. Her face darkened.

" Project Mew battle is temporary paused until further notice." The drone beeped.

Wisty sighed.

" Eve, you know what to do."

Eevee transformed into Leafeon and used Vine whip to grab the Drone.

Then, it pulled the drone to the girls hands.

" What have you done to her?!" The girl yelled. " Contact base!"

" Contacting base " it blipped.

" Uh, you should-"

" Don't tell me what and what not to do, boy." The girl barked.

Ash stepped back. " Sorry." He said, his voice small.

" Who is that?" Professor Amaranth asked.

" It's me."

The professor gasped. " When did y-"

" What did you to to Articuno, hm?" She barked, her hands on hips.

The professor did not reply.

" THIS IS NOT A RETORICAL QUESTION!"

The professor looked at Horace, Goh, Gary and Ash. " Why don't you speak to those fo-"

" Are their names Professor Amaranth?"

The professor didn't say anything.

" I am asking for the last time. What did y-"

" We did nothing!" The professor cried. " Look, even ask Quillon and Dakina!"

The two chasers came onto the screen.

" What are you doing -"

" Quillon. I am asking you this once and only once." The girl said, her voice ice cold. " What. Did. You. Do. With. Articuno?"

" I can assure you, we did nothing." Danika said.

The girl took a walkie talkie out. " Okay Houndour. Now."

There was a loud roar from the other end. Danika's eyes widened.

" Oh no."

Before the four silent boys could say anything, the girl motioned for her Eevee to do something. The Eevee backflipped and turned into Jolteon, then electrocuted the drone.

" Now that that's done, let's get down to business."

Ash had his behind Gary, who hid behind an ice wall. Goh and Horace were already behind there, holding close to one another.
