" Hey do you know that guy?"
" I sure do. He's really not bad."
" I'm Gary."
" Nice to meet you. I'm Horace. Hey, wanna join our expedition group?"
" You should ask the group BEFORE inviting people!"
" He took the time to wait for us."
" Only because you can't have a Raid battle alone!"
" Fair eno-"
" ASH LOOK OUT!" someone yelled.
Ash turned. " Who said-"
Someone bolted to him and tackled him down, then looked up.
An Eevee and Glaceon were fighting.
" Okay, knock it off you two!" The girl yelled.
Another girl with purple hair ran to the other girl's side. " Glaceon, stop that! Is that how you treat your sister?"
The first girl nudged the other one. " Cryst, they ARE siblings."
" Oh yeah."
The second girl helped the first one up, then cleared her throat. " GLACEON STOP!"
Glaceon did not stop.
The first one narrowed her brows. " Hold on...."
The purple one turned. " What happened?"
The raven haired girl turned. " That isn't your Glaceon."
The purple one gasped. " Are you serious?"
" Would the sister of the, and I quote, ' Master Detective ' lie?"
" No....."
" Exactly!"
" You might want to help your brother, Kiki."
The raven haired girl looked up. " Why?"
The purple girl stared. " Wisty, you planted him in the ice. And he's not moving."
Ash blinked, realizing he was somehow frozen, quite literally, up to his knees in ice. “Uh… help?” he called, trying to wiggle his legs free.
Wisty sighed and looked at her friend. “Well, I guess he does need a bit of a hand.”
Crystal nodded, stifling a laugh. “A frozen bit of help.”
Wisty grinned, then turned back to Ash. “Okay, hold on. This might sting a little.” She gave her Eevee a quick nod, and it used a light Flamethrower to thaw the ice.
Ash yelped as the ice melted around him, hopping free. “That was too close!” He gave Wisty a look. “You didn’t have to tackle me, you know!”
“Oh, but I did,” Wisty teased, patting him on the back. “Saved you from a frosty fate, didn’t I?”
Just then, the rogue Glaceon darted past them, with Crystal’s actual Glaceon on its tail. Horace, standing beside Gary, chuckled, “Guess things are never dull with you all around!”
Crystal turned to Wisty. “Looks like we have a fake Glaceon situation. You ready to solve it, Miss ‘Master Detective’?”
Wisty gave her a confident nod. “Always am. Let’s go catch that imposter!”
With a playful roll of her eyes, Crystal ran alongside Wisty. “Come on, Ash. Who knows, you might learn a thing or two about real detective work.” his sister called.
As they ran off, Gary nudged Horace. “Welcome to the wild world of Wisty and Ash.”
