" Hey do you know that guy, Ash?"
" Yeah we grew up together."
" Ahhh, I see. Then you two must be rivals."
" Yeah, I guess you could say that."
Suddenly, Misty's eyes widenend. " Duck!"
Ash gasped. " Duck? Where?!"
" Not you, Ash. Wisty, duck!"
Ash turned to see her sister boarding, her Eevee pulling her.
He also saw her go smack into a tree.
" I'm fine, Eevee. I'm fine." She muttered as she stood up, then shook her head. " Yeesh, Eve. You need to go a lot slower."
Then she saw her brother. " Oh, hiya Ash!"
" Wisty? What are you doing here?"
Wisty handed Ash a bag. " Mom wanted me to give you this. It has a lot of ' you know whats'."
Ash's face reddened. " Really?"
Wisty shrugged. " Hey, I'm only the sister. I don't know anything."
Then she gasped too. " Did you happen to see Gary, by any chance?"
" Yeah, he went that way." Ash pointed, and Wisty nodded. " Thanks! Eevee, let's go!"
Eevee pulled Wisty and her board through the croud as Wisty yelled, " BYE ASH!"
" Hey As do you know that guy?" Jackson asked.
" Yeah she's my little sister."
" She seems nice." Harrison commented.
" Yeah, she is. She's also really embarassing."
Suddenly, they saw Gary running through the croud, looking behind his shoulders. " Wisty, what are you trying to do?!"
" Professor Oak told me I had to ' give you a bath'. So come here! I already have a tub full of water in the forest!"
Ash's eyes widened. " Wisty I don't think he meant it like that!"
" Oh he meant EXACTLY what he said."
Ash slapped his head, but before he could do anything, Wisty grabbed a trashbag and pulled it on Gary.
" WISTYYY!" Gary yelled.
Wisty grinned as she heaved Gary into the woods, " Oh, would you relax? I may not be a mother, but I've given people bats before!"
Ash quickly pulled his phone out and called the professor.
" PROFESSOR DID YOU TELL WISTY TO GIVE YOUR GRANDSON A BATH?!" He yelled as soon as the professor answered..
On the other end of the phone, Professor Oak's chuckle echoed through the speaker. "Ah, Ash, I may have mentioned that Gary needed a bit of cleaning up, but I didn't mean... well, not an actual bath!"
Ash groaned, gripping his forehead. "Professor, you know Wisty takes everything literally, right?"
Professor Oak sighed, realizing his oversight. "Oh dear. That does sound like Wisty. She's always been quite... thorough."
Back in the woods, Wisty had already set Gary down by the makeshift tub she'd prepared—a plastic storage bin half-filled with water. "Alright, Gary, this'll be quick. Just hold still."
Gary's eyes darted wildly. "Wisty, this isn't what Grandpa meant! I can wash myself, thank you!"
Wisty folded her arms, rolling her eyes. "Oh, please, I've given Eevee baths that were tougher than this! Now, just relax and—"
Ash ran through the trees, finally catching up. "Wisty! You can let him go now. Professor didn't mean you had to literally give him a bath."
Wisty paused, hands on her hips. "Are you sure? I was only trying to help."
Gary scrambled free, dripping with water and looking utterly frazzled. "Yes, absolutely! I can manage my own hygiene, thank you very much!" He looked at Ash, exasperated. "Your sister is a menace!"
Ash chuckled, patting Wisty's shoulder. "She's just... thorough, that's all. But maybe next time, Wisty, check what people actually mean before going all out?"
Wisty shrugged, looking entirely unapologetic. "Hey, if Professor Oak had been more specific, none of this would've happened!"
With that, she whistled for Eevee, who promptly bounded over. "Come on, Eve. Let's go find someone else who actually needs a bath!"
Ash and Gary watched her go, shaking their heads.
"Well," Gary said with a huff, "at least life's never boring with her around."
Ash laughed, nodding. "Yeah... and that's exactly why I'm always prepared for anything."
